Vivamus, if you like Pizza Mut, then you should LOVE Round Table pizza. Round Table is the best chain pizza out there, in my opinion. I'm at work now, so I think I'll eat my tuna sandwich. yum.

I accidently bit into an anchovy pizza one time, and every fiber in my body told me to spit it out.
You might as well go out into a field and sidle up to a cow and share a salt lick.

Charmin with Ripples or without (softer?)
by Cappuccino OC inwe just tried (it was on sale) charmin (toilet paper) with ripples.

my little daughter loves it.

Dear Crapp, you can't go wrong with Charmin two ply non scented. Buy it in bulk at Costco.
By the way, proper wiping. Take three sheets fold them into one, wipe then repeat. Then one flushable non aloe non scented baby wipe. Then finish up by doing step one again, only this time, don't repeat.
For the ladies, wipe from front to back. Possibly being raised a Witness, nobody had enough sense to tell you that this technique will help you prevent infections.

As long as there are bleeding heart liberals and the ACLU around, these monsters will be loved and protected. Liberals and the ACLU will make sure that we spend MILLIONS of tax payer dollars making sure he gets two to three decades of appeals, and in the meantime, he will be given all the food he wants, medical and dental, and access to cable T.V., law libraries and the internet. He can also get married and pump out as many welfare children as he chooses to.
Your typical pro crime liberal or card carrying ACLU member would step over that girls lifeless molested body and hug the guy who did the crime and ask him if he is O.K. and what made him do it. And then go to work having him declared insane and in and out of a mental institution as soon as possible. Sound ridiculous, it happens all the time.
If the guy who did this is eventually put to death for this horrible crime, he will be given a nice meal, a Chaplin will gently hold his hand and assure his ascent to heaven and then he will be gently put to sleep. So you can forget about the Roman flogging.

How do the locals speak near you?
by sleepy inin britian every city has its own accent and local words that people use.. if you worked a council estate in cardiff you were joe-va's witnesses.. a reply on the ministry could be "you joe-vah's witnesses is it?.
i remmember working in shefield and people would call each other "ducky".
what were witnesses called where you live?

In Cali we were referred to as Jehovahs. As in, "What are you, a 'Jehovah'? It sounds insulting and feels insulting. It made high school so much fun.

What is the toll of rejection to JW's?
by sleepy inwhat is the toll of rejection to jw's?.
growing up as a witness you face rejection at every corner.. you go to school aged 5 and soon you are invited to a bithday party.you run home excited, but your parents say you cant go , a tell you to say you are a jehovahs witness.after that you friends are never the same , they treat you as someone different.some won't even be your friends anymore.you go through school having to miss holidays , religious services etc, and you can tell the teachers think you're odd.if your lucky enought to be quite a well balanced personality it may not effect you that much.or does it?.
do the scars of rejection dig deeper than you think?.

Hi Sleepy. Yep, that's me. I've been out for almost 30 years now, but I still have trouble relating to "normal people". By that I mean, people who learned interpersonal skills as children. When you're the kid who runs from the classroom when another kid brings a ouija board to class or sits alone while EVERYBODY else is singing X-Mas carols, it makes other kids look at you differently, and I don't mean in a good way. People who raise their kids in this cult should be flogged.
I get a kick out of people who are raised non witnesses, and then get depressed or just turn stupid and then let themselves and their family sucked into the Borg. When you ask them if they think it's fair that they grew up getting to celebrate holidays and their own birthdays, invariability they will tell you that their kids don't want to celebrate holidays or birthdays. I asked one fool how he knows that his kids feel that way, and he told me that his kids would tell him if it bothered them not to celebrate holidays.
I grew up a witness, and I can tell you that I ached to celebrate X-Mas, just like the normal kids on my block. And I sure didn't take any particular joy in hiding in the darkness of my house on Halloween, listening to all the little buggers outside screaming with joy and counting their booty.
I'm dying to hang out with a roomful of other recovering ex-jw's, how about somebody putting together a northern cali apostofest. Preferably near silicon valley.

Lisa, the first thing I do when I look at the forum every night, is to see if you started a thread and go directly to it. Take a break, take a vacation, but come back once in a while to spread your wisdom and joy.
I'll call you next week and we'll arrange to meet at the Garlic Festival. I'll bring my daughters, they're going to your namesake college together. U.C.D.
