  does throwing sparlock in the garbage and pedophile lawsuits have any connection psychologically for the governing body?.

  i think it does, and that it may actually reveal the true feeling of the governing body towards the children in their congregations around the world.. think about this, the governing body have blundered in not recognizing their fuditiary duty towards these young people and the way they let pedofiles loose in the congregation which is costing them dearly in lawsuits, i think they have a hatred for those that are sueing them, maybe not a conscious hatered,but perhaps a repressed hatred stuffed in their shadow.

  as they publically state "they abore child molestation"(this hatred very well could be a shadow projection).. they also don't want jw children going off to college with threats about removing mss and elders if they send them to college.

  There is a common thread of binning Sparlock and culturing a safe haven for pedophiles in the congregation. They clearly hate children. They provide nothing for children, no ministry geared for them, no activities that are age appropriate. They hate children, and in particular they hate the innocence that children have, and seek to destroy it. When Sparlock was binned, his childlike innocent imagination was binned too. It was done in a particular sinister way, which was not to simply order him to lose his innocence, but for his birth mother to trick him into surrendering it voluntarily. Pedophiles also destroy the innocence of a child, so they are welcome in the congregation, they are protected, while the official doctrine grooms the children sexually by exposing them to constant age inappropriate sexuality. This is a technique used by pedophiles and the Watchtower society.

  Then, in an ultimate act of destroying the innocence of a child, and as a special boost, to get the child to volunteer to give up that innocence, the death of a child is something that they are willing to do. It gives them so much satisfaction that they openly boast about their innocent victims.

  there would be no doctors to help us.. there would be no teachers to teach us.. there would be no engneers to build things.. their would be no electricians to electrify things.. there would be no great chefs to masterfully create awesome meals.. there would be no accountants to help keep books balanced.. there would be no vets to help keep our pets healthy.. there would be no chemists to do all the chemistry things that make so many things we use.. there would be no scientists to dazzle us with new discoveries.. there would be no hubble space station, and how could we possible appreciate the glory of god if we couldn't see beyond our nose?.

  i bet you can think of lots of things i can't...but you get my drift!!!.

  we'd all be sitting around, huddled into our little tight knit bundles of bible study banter rehashing the same old verses day after day, and never ever come to any understanding at all about how grand our world is, how insanely huge this entire universe is and not to mention the other universes besides this one, nor could we grasp what other planets are like without higher education.

  It would be an unstable religion and would implode.

  The Watchtower religion depends on two things to give it validity. One of them is in internal Us and Them so that there can be an overclass to rule and an underclass to be ruled. If it were egalitarian then this would not be possible. Many people would start thinking and making decisions for themselves, and the control mechanism would collapse. Recruiting everyone would threaten the controls because in its current form those independent thinkers are screened out.

  Another important element to the religion is that it needs an outgroup to scorn and demonize as being worse than them. Since they have so little to offer a person, they depend on making a person believe that anywhere else they go would be worse, evil, turning to Satan, etc. If everyone joined, then they would have to turn on themselves since there would be no outgroup to turn on. The outgroup would be from within, likely those people who were intelligent, independent thinkers, had initiative or were not conforming to dictates very well. The religion needs an outgroup so badly that it would cannibalize itself to make an outgroup and would collapse by itself.

  He was the victim of one, and was sent to his death by the committee. Things are still the same today, with the judicial committee sending people to their spiritual death.

  That book is nonsense. The holy Roman empire and Inquisition were European events. Many religious sects were spawned in Europe, and many religious wars (though admittedly with political and economic overtones) originated there, including the crusades. Religious loons in America were an import from Europe, and only in the last two centuries did America start growing native religious loons, but they got most of their ideas from European religions.

  American religious loons are not generally welcome, but merely tolerated. They seem to be more than what they are because they are loud and shrill by nature.
