  Now that's a scary thought! ugg...have you given any thought as to pro-active alternatives if you find your elder husband in a position to decide your fate in case of serious injury?

  It is a sobering reminder of what happens when clergy-instigated intrigues stand in the way of freedom of thought and expression.

  If outsiders (not familiar with the tactics of Jehovah's Witnesses) actually read this article, it would be understood immediately that Jehovah's Witnesses do not stand in the way of freedom of thought and expression. Outsiders would be left to assume that open freedom of thought and expression that challenges the conformity of the Jehovahs Witnesses brotherhood, is allowed without sanction.

  Also, this article could actually serve another purpose and be referenced during future arguments as written proof that the organization does not condone the suppression of freedom of thought and expression, even within the confines of its own members.

  However, the average or uninformed Jehovah's Witness would understand the article differently.

  For example, notice how the conclusion of the quote focuses on the term clergy and disregards mentioning the possibility of others, not clergy who might stand in the way of freedom of thought and expression as well.

  Since the average, uninformed, rather than disingenuous, member of Jehovah's Witnesses understands that they have no such thing as a 'clergy' and based on the worded conclusion of the article that implicates only clergy as manipulative, it would be difficult for uninformed Jehovah's Witnesses to comprehend that they actually do not support freedom of thought while actively allowing the organization to suppress, via disfellowshipping, freedom of thought and expression that conflicts with current corporate policy.

  according to the your will be done book ..."there is scriptural reason to believe that by the time of the annual celebration of the lord's evening meal on march 26, 1918, satan the devil was hurled down to the earth.

  "now this must have been quite the war, since we are taught that by october 1 or 2 1914, satan was waging war with michael and he was thrown to the vicinity of the earth.

  that is why since 1914 we have such a short time left.....how do they get these crazy dates and how can people believe this if they really think about it?

  the father of a teenaged leukemia patient who fought against blood transfusions for religious reasons is upset that his wife has taken their daughter out of the country to a secret location where she'll begin alternative treatments.. .

  i would like to know if anybody feels there is life on other planets.

  jw's typically say no, but that seems arogant, the universe is ridiculously huge.

  maybe god created tons of life and we are the only ones that turned, we were therefore cut off and became limited to our 10% brain power while they continued to advance.

  when do you think the preaching work will expand in china?

  how about the middle east (iran, iraq, uae, etc)?

  do you think the angels play a great role in getting honest harted people out of these countries( through emmigration) into lands where the preaching work is being conducted to a greater degree.

  They have a great love for Jehovah's sheep and appreciate the privilege of going to such ones.

  ...one billion+ Chinese served by 2 'guys' (Jehovah's Witnesses)...ITcould happen!

  ...Let's see, potentially one billion x the equivalent 'donation' of .25US per issue = $250,000,000US tax free every two weeks. I can imagine Mcdonalds (Asia) being envious.

  Mind you, if the Chinese government takes exception to an American, so-called 'religious', Corporation sopping up loose change on Chinese soil and levys a revenue tax, rest assured the 'great love for Jehovah's sheep' will be a token effort and used for marketing purposes elsewhere.
