  However, the official explanation would be something along the lines that because he was practicing nefarious behavior that isn’t approved by the organization of Jehovah’s Witnesses, he had already dissociated himself from the organization that hadn’t as yet dealt formally with this incident and wouldn't be considered a "loyal" member of Jehovah's Witnesses.

  "...But thank-you very much, for presenting the additional information that will help accelerate the process for a formal and justifiable decision of disfellowshipment...er…severe demotion and “loving” counseling within the congregation."

  while only a small piece of the wt's financial jigsaw puzzle, they effectively illustrate the level of $ under the society's control.

  What these figures really show is a lack of charity and an organization that truly is not "not for profit"!!!

  As a Jehovah’s Witness my excuse for “our” lack of charity showed we were different from other religions and that “our” charitable work was more important and effective by spreading the “good news” thereby bringing those who would listen into the “loving” fold of the organization thereby solving their immediate shortcomings.

  Taking a break out in service though, you’d think that the WTBTS could’ve sprung for donuts and coffee once in a while.

  my mother got all five of us kids these medical alert bracelets when we were young.....

  Although self-imposed, plh it’s almost like wearing the five digit identity tattoo on the forearm that unfortunates were forced to wear 60 years ago.

  It’s as if very few have learned the lessons the past has taught, certainly not Jehovah's Witnesses.

  …I had plans with my JW daughter to spend a few hours together. A few days before I left on my trip she left a message on our answering machine saying she couldn't see me.

  While I read the above ChrisVance, it felt like something kicked me in the stomach. And I don’t have to say, “I can only imagine how you must have felt”, because as a former Jehovah’s Witness, I’ve been there to.

  I can only hope she couldn’t meet with you because something much more important came up. But I fear this is not the case seeing this is your first post, the unfortunate occurrence of shunning must have prompted you to share.

  If I had been the aggrieved party, I would have hauled in the elders from the Kingdom Hall and shown how they follow the official WTBTS sales training exercises every week. I would have used their own literature to give the real truth about the publishing cult's activities.

  Of course you’d do so Skimmer, that’s because you’ve had the experience of being a Jehovah’s Witness.

  However I suspect Brooklyn is counting on the ignorance of the general populace concerning the inner workings of the WTS bureaucracy. And that bureaucracy is almost impossible to understand unless you’ve been there.

  It’s becoming painfully obvious, but only to former Jehovah’s Witnesses, all…the angles are covered because of “doubletalk” countermeasures designed for the "public" and "quarantine" for the "rank and file".

  according to the january 1, 1989 watchtower, our obligation to field service officially ended last year!:.

  Good effort Professor, unfortunately that Jan 1, 1989 Watchtower quote uses “a work”.

  Unless “a work” is specifically defined some where and I’ll bet “dollars to donuts” you won’t, the WTS quote as usual could mean either absolutely anything or absolutely nothing.

  You’ll have to get up pretty early in the morning to nail that “Brooklyn Billionaires Boys Club”

  bethel has responded to dr muramotos recent article in the british medical journal about the watchtower societys ridiculous teachings about blood abstinence.

  this response comes in a letter to the editor of bmj from the director of hospital information services in great britain, one paul wade.

  the reply is not only embarrassing for all thinking jws, it is disgraceful!

  i came upon the idea for this topic in backward fashion.. not long ago, someone was attributing greatness to one of us .

  We were unsuspecting individuals who were lured, or even forced in.

  At least "forced in" was certainly the case with me, Prof! I was born into the "Truth" and was never afforded the opportunity of informed choice and was simply a WTBTS by-product of its selective informational conditioning.
