  i'll start with a couple.....jws believe that everything in revelation is symbolic except the number 144,000.. jws believe that donating blood is wrong.

  yet jws can accept "blood fractions" which can only be recieved if one donates blood!.

  Witnesses will associate with worldly relatives who NEVER attended a KH, NEVER wanted to be a witness and who may even have opposed witnesses. They will NOT have anything to do with a family member whose only mistake was to get baptized while too young to know better. So even if they have now left behavior that got them df'd and are now productive members of society, they will be shunned if they don't get reinstated.

  This is one of my biggest problems with the Witlesses.

  They can associate and have at family gatherings, members RAISED in the truth, as long as they haven't been baptized.

  Even if the non-baptized RAISED-IN-THE-TRUTH family member makes statements that they think the religion is stupid, dumb, etc.

  If you get baptized, and you make the same statements, you're SHUNNED.

  What do you do when you know you child is getting thier feelings hurt?

  we just recently moved and my oldest son (9) is adjusting well, so far.

  there are lots of kids on the street and they are always outside playing soccer and basketball.

  i've noticed that he is having trouble with a couple of the boys....they are all very close in age...9 10 and 11.

  When I have heard boys picking on another boy, I have called them on it.

  I heard them picking on this one boy who was smaller than they were, and I said,

  Boys! What makes you think you have the right to put down another boy? How would you like it if a bigger kid was picking on you and making fun of you? Would that feel good or bad?

  So How do you think you are making this boy feel? Does it make you happy to make him feel sad? When you pick on someone else, you are really doing it because inside you feel bad. Next time you feel the urge to put someone down, THINK about how they will feel, and how it makes you feel.

  It only feels good when you help someone, not tear them down.

  They looked down at their shoes ashamed, (though I wasnt trying to shame them, only get them to be empathetic) and they realiszd that their words were more about making themselves feel better and feel tougher.....and they apologized to the boy they were picking on, and said they wouldnt pick on him anymore.

  in fact, i passed several churches of the catholic and protestent denominations.

  and i thought that those churches were supposed to be destroyed before the great tribulation which was supposed to culminate in armageddon.

  Memorial Partaker totals for 72 years by request!

  question from researcher: the other day you posted the australian peak publishers and i was wondering if it would be possible to post the numbers of the "memorial partakers" from 1935 to 2006. that would be about 72 years of totals.. my answer: yes, we can do that for you but it will take a few hours to get everything together and scanned.

  i will have to use different forms of wt literature to accomplish this.. unless indicated otherwise, numbers listed show partakers for previous year and some could show: "still incomplete" but they are still listed as a total nevertheless.

  a friend of mr f heard a story on kfbk sacramento radio news a little after 8 this am...3 people in woodland ca received their settlement money, and 7,000 others have come forward with accusations.

  i can't find it anywhere - does anyone know about this?

  It is interesting that when alive Pat Garza alleged that when a District Overseer in Los Angeles, the Watchtower Society boss Ted Jaracz molested her and other kids in a Satanic, ritual manner, and also that Barbara Anderson has noted that Harry Peloyan of the Writitng Department pointed out Jaracz being anti-reformist regarding child molestation and the accepting of testimony from persons who said they had been molested.

  When I first saw the picture of Ted Jaracz, that was my first thought - he looks like a crazed pedophile to me, (they have a certain look in my opinion). Now we know why the pedos were/are usually protected., and the victims were/are silenced.

  below is a list of twelve things that satanist prays for (daily), yes they pray these prayers daily, that is better than i can say for some in the body of christ who only pray when they are in trouble.

  satanist are praying to destroy the kingdom of god daily; are you praying to destroy the kingdom of darkness, daily?

  I think that if you rewrote that info you clipped and left out the word "satan" or "satanist", that EVERYONE would agree that they themselves held to those ideals.

  Very true

  I think Satanists acknowledge a lot about how the world and people actually operate. Christianity is idealistic to a fault and operates on people feeling guilty and shameful over what are natural desires. Satanism has much more vibrancy and respect for living life.

  yes, there are several of us that either have to go to the crap-assed assembly this year, or simply because we plan on taking notes and posting them here.

  knowing how bloody boring the entire thing is, i've made some tips up on how you can keep awake during the 2007 borefest:are you really going to the assembly this year?

  are you ready to fall asleep by 10:05am when the opening song and prayer are over?

  If your going to one of the new assembly halls where the pool is concealed. Sneak backstage and dump 300 goldfish into it!

  Eat beans and I mean LOTS of beans. Hell bring a huge pot and offer them to people sitting around you. With luck the whole section will be Df'ed!

  Wear a beer hat/nacho hat/huge fake titty hat/cheese head hat with your suit. Act natural.

  OMFG LMFAO! I am still laughing!!! That was a riot and a half, mkr!
