in other news, the jc is over.
because of this we have an elder that lied to us and to my wife parents.
Drew abd Amber Rose: I'm sorry for what you've been through. I'm not surprised elder B turned on you, I thought as much from the begining of your ordeal.
I think you guys did well though. You wanted your in laws to see for themselves what a farce the society is, well, it should be crystal clear now. If you can get your loved ones out with you, this was a very good thing indeed.
i wonder how it strikes you when you read of those facing or have faced one of your tribunals?.
as x men in charge, how do you feel reading the pain and panic here?.

because i still want my family to speak to me, i decided to fade.
it was quite easy to do, i dont live near them so there was problem with meetings and field service.. the problem now is , after 3 years of fading, it having quite a detrimental effect on me.
i have said things to my family about the child abuse stuff , lack of love that sort of thing and they realize i dont go to meetings anymore but because i just cant leave it alone or keep my mouth shut, i end up talking about the org to them when i promise my self not to.
Just enjoy the time you have with your family. Realize that whatever negatives you say will just sour them against you. Let your actions speak louder than words.

i keep getting asked why i am no longer going but find it hard to have material to back up what i am saying.
Do not waste your time my dear: They are brainwashed and will just hear blah. blah, blah when you speak. And you may easily end up df'd. If you don't mind being cut of from your family go right ahead, if you do,think twice before you open your mouth.
When a person is ready to come out they do so, but in their own time. You can't force it on them - it will back fire on you.

Pintail: Don't be so judgemental. Everyone here would love to take a stand but the price is way to high for most of us.
Drew: Take it from someone who was in a looong time, with close family members as elders: you are being quite naive. A meeting with 3 elders is a Judicial Commitee! The fact they haven't said so to you is a red flag in itself.
The YMCA thing was a blessing for them. I assure you they've been hoping from something they could get you on. Now that they've got it, you're toast. Your comparison of joining the YMCA with the Society's association with the UN will fall on deaf ears.
Your friend is either naive or playing "good cop" as others have pointed out. Either way, you're a gonner.
Sorry to be so negative, but I spent a lifetime in their midst and I know all thier tricks. I just want you to know what you are up against.

I'm fading. UN issue was the catalyst for breaking free. After seeing the Society's hypocrysy in that issue all the doubts I had squashed down for years came to the surfface. This time I was able to analyze them and see that I've know the truth all along - WBTS is a farce.
