  To imply that we cover over Evil like molestation has NO tie with Reality- it is a VERY difficult problem- even with NON-religious organizations.

  How can anyone CONDEMN someone- and ruin their life- when we can't read hearts- and know with absolute CERTAINLY if someone did something in privacy?????

  I admire our HQ for being so cautious; it indicates that they are conscious of the fact that they will have to answer to Christ for their actions!

  It's as much a nightmare to us as it is to the victims of such depravity! Yet the brutal fact is that there are endless factors that can make it appear someone was guilty of something they never did- I've SEEN it!

  You and all the other anti-witnesses sniveling about that almost make ME believe in Hellfire for you and the molesters- and whatever sect you belong to.

  eternal life vs resurrection

  are they still claiming that you will live forever?

  now that they dropped "this generation" why not just stick to you will be resurrected.

  Why don't Witnesses indentify themselves at the door when in service?

  my 17 year old daughter told me 2 men were at the door saturday looking for adults that lived in the house.my wife and i were out of town for 2 days.they had suits on and carrying book bags.

  they asked if she was over 18. she replied that she wasn't.

  they left without indentifiying themselves.

  What makes you think they were us? (JWs)

  I ALWAYS identify myself, and speak to children, always encouraging them to ask their parents about the Bible. Of course, it just MIGHT have been a couple of my brothers. Don't know why they wouldn't identify themselves...

  Latest Watchtower Changes

  the following are some changes the wts plans to initiate starting 2008. in hearing about this i asked my wife why she thought they were doing these sudden and subtle changes, she had no answer and seemed clueless.

  she still fully believes in the borg as opposed to me.

  you can more than likely imagine why they are implimenting these changes.. 1. starting jan2008 there will be one watchtower mag.

  Encountered Witnesses today at Dunkin Donuts, need some advice please

  i am behind in composing my "counter-witness" pamphlets that i have been wanting to design, but i've been compiling info still.

  problem is that days like today, when i talked to witnesses in a plaza, i did not have anything to give but my words.

  funny, i gave my business card to them(they were spanish), and told them to have someone call on me, so i can do a study with them.

  i must tell you an interesting story from today.

  gary and i went thru a drive-thru for breakfast and were sitting at our local park (in the car) enjoying our high fat, high cholesterol breakfast when, low and behold, here comes a group of jw's sloooooowly checking out the area.

  (this is right by the river on the green circle trail, which is a favorite place for joggers, walkers, bikers, etc.

  Very cheesy of you to blame Bible Truth for what a Vile Pretender may have done- unless this "Elder" was the one that (I'm guessing from your reference) abused your son.

  Why not condemn the MAN, instead of the Bible that we represent to the best of our ability. There are vicious and pervert Phonies in all religions!

  Just got back from the Public Talk/WT study......very disappointed

  so i finally went back to the sunday meeting after missing it for over a month.

  i've been to the tms/service meeting a couple of weeks ago by the way, but i've consistently missed the one for sunday.. i dreaded going, but i think i will go to the sunday meetings every couple of weeks for a while.

  between my dad and another factor, i think it will be best to go that route for a while.

  yesterday our family (grandparents, grandkids, aunts, uncles) all went for a two hour drive for a picnic and all day fossil dig.

  MFM replies: Very profound, LL! And a refreshing break from all the insults and nonsense USUALLY spouted on this board!

  It DOES appear that God & Christ (whatever his name and title was at THAT time) were experimenting with lifeforms and the environment! I am very GRATEFUL that my Brotherhood sticks with the fact that the dinosaurs are not explained in the Bible. The people before the 19th century had no IDEA of such life, anyway! It IS a fascinating subject- thanks for bringing it up!
