all too often, prison is simply a training ground for more serious crimes.

When I lived in Florida in Arcadia, The sisters from the congergation used to go witness to the inmates, My grandfather was a guard there. there were no less than 3 sisters that married black[no raceisim intended] murder convicts. I think they stopped letting women go to male prisons for witnessing. Althought the numbers on the spread sheet looks good. maybe this is how the society did a 3% increase in the us. LOL

Out Witnessing = My wife hands out our home phone number to strangers!!!

desperate to make a convert i'm amazed how witnesses behave.

like my wife we were on vacation, witnessing, we met a guy who was visiting his mother but came from our city.

after talking for a while my wife tells him which suburb we live in and leaves our home phone number telling him to call me when we get back and i can take him to the meetings.

I just watched a show on discovery where a Dubber family was at a rest area and a group of kids asked for a ride, the over trusting little brains of the Dubbers said yes. Well the kids killed the whole family and stole the car.

The Dubbers will not talk to a family member who just does not believe but will take a stranger into their home. Nutty bunch of people.

Circuit Assembly 2007

does anybody have the schedule for this year's circuit assembly.

my mom invited and i might go just to make her happy, but i don't want to be there all day.

when I used to go back in the day in lansing MI I used to go to the ass, then slip out and head for the mall. shop around for a bit and then an hour before end I would slip back in and tell people I was working in the kitchen or some place that I knew no one from my hall was working.

Never got cought and we had a ball. I used to look forward to going to the ass, it was when I could get to a music store and buy 8 tracks, does that date me? Oh well. They sucked hard but it was what we had. I remember buying queen news of the world on 8 track at the lansing mall.

Now that I do not have to answer to any one I would not go on a dime bet, but if you are underage and can drive you need to find a local spot around the ass. and bring your puter and get a bottomless cup of joe and type here, then slip back in and act like you were working for jesus the whole time. LOL

after my phone conversations with the elder, it seemed only right to attempt to contact our accusers.

since the elder violated the biblical directive and refused to put me in contact with my accusers, i was unable to contact them directly.

i did not know their phone numbers, email addresses, or home addresses.

As far as I ever knew it was not a DF offence to cel. a bday, it was only a "principal" I have not been in for 7 years. but there were two types of rules, laws that are like no blood, getting drunk ect. and Principals like bdays, or going to an R rated movie.where if you decided you would go against a principal you could not be DFd but you would not be able to hold posistions of responsibility, work the mikes,or behind the lit, desk ect.

If things have changed let me know but I believe it is still the same. Now on the other hand you will get marked and prob. not associated with if you openly cel. a bday. But why go for the insult, just leave and dont look back. Dont let them push you into defending yourself needlessly. ask if it is a DF offence and when they say no, then tell them you do not see anything wrong with it and disagree with them, Remember if you get nasty they can DF you just for that. I think the best way is to just not talk to them. life is to short and they are a waist of air talking to them.

Went off outside walmart.

i was loading my purchase in my car yesterday when i saw out of the corner of my eye a 20 something man in suit and tie walk up to me and he was holding what i knew was a watchtower.. after 30 years of slavery and i was running late i went off on him, before he could even open his mouth i said, i was part of your cult for 30 years before i left.

he asked what made me leave, i told him that if when christ came invisibly to earth in 1914 and saw russell and his little group of bible students were the only people who had it right and so gave him authority over his earthly preaching work, why would you be disfellowshiped for teaching anything russell tought?

if the bible says that a person who predicts something to happen and it does not come to pass he is a false profit and the society had not been right on one thing, i told him i lived through [stay alive till 75] and knew many who sold their homes and had enough to live on just until 75 and again nothing happend, did he know that the second pres.

Thanks for the support, I was also very tired as I have been working 7 days a week finishing a house I am building.

Dogon, not the tribe, read it backwards. Always wanted to get my Lic. plates for my car with this on it. Makes a jab at religion without them knowing it.

I usualy [when I have time ] invite them to talk about the religion. And after a bit of discussion they usualy do not come back and I go on a do not call list.

Sometimes many lines of emotion converge at one point, I moved to get away from a large extended family of JWs, I am working on a house and if any one has done this it is very stressfull, We are living in a 20foot travel trailer for the last 8 months.

So I am a bit off right now, very tired and fighting to ve civil to people with my temper growing short. I did not insult the guy, I do not feel that would have been right. And I am not sorry for telling him what I have come to learn about the JWs, I just did it in a condecending way and I hate it when others are that way to me, so when I think I have treated some one in that manor it bothers me. My wife was in the car and said it looked like the guy was being tortured. That comment did not help. LOL.

What kind of people remain members and will serve the WTS to the end?

my family have been members of the wts since the 1980's.

they never went to college,don't read any books besides watchtower material,have no hobbies,don't have any friends besides witness "friends",worked manual labor jobs all their lives,never questioned anything the wts changes,and have never looked into any other teachings besides the wts propaganda.

{ in other words: they are closed minded and not very inquisitive}.

Stupid Idiots at the meeting

i was at the sunday meeting today (i know, i know...) and i heard this one guy give a comment about how hollywood movies always portray rich people as happy and successful, so that's proof that satan controls the film industry because it's a lie.. .

i struggled to think of one recent hollywood film that portrayed anyone as being happy, let alone rich and happy.

if they made a movie like this guy was describing, it wouldn't sell.

This reminds me of when they changed the food arangments some years ago, went from buying food on site to you bringing your own. When asked what kind of food you should bring to eat, one sister raised her hand and said "we can go without eating for the assembly" the conductor was hypogly. and said, maybe you can but I can not.

As I drove away, I felt bad for going off on this guy, he walked into to 30 years of pent up emotion and I blew some of the presure at him.

The damage this religion has done to me and my family is unrepairable and still holds many many scars, I get so angry when I see them walking around handing out their magazines, but then as I drove off I rememberd I once walked around thinking I was on the right road trying to give someone a magazine.

It makes me even mader that it still has this affect on me. Just when I thought I was getting over the anger it floods back at a moments notice. I moved at least in a small part to hot springs arkansas to get away from my family who looked or looks down on my life because I do not buy in to crazy anymore.

Dont you just want to go to brooklyn and grab a couple of the GB and wrap your hands around their necks? And with this Religous nut job in the white house pushing our country into the ground, I have just about had my fill of god and religion. I am all stocked up on crazy for life. I do not need any more.

i knew of a hall that allowed only white shirted speakers on the platform for sunday public talks!

when a visiting speaker did not wear the official white shirt he was either told that he couldn't give the talk or he could change shirts,as the hall kept a variety of sizes, just in case of an emergency!!!

i don't make this up.

In vanderbuilt if you took a sister home from or to meeting and you and her were the only ones in the car, she had to ride in the back.

I have seen so many "rules" and most are by what is up the butt of the local elders.

These small minded people love rule over others.

I know of rules from several cong. in california they would not say a thing about kids buying kegs and having kegger partys on the beach. In michigan that would get you reproved at min.

I remember the NO leisure suit rule, the not colord shits rule. No beards was and is org wide. The colord shit rule was an unwriten rule adopted by many cong. as showie display of ones self. Not being humble type thinking.

I can remember women could not give talks if they has any combonation of red white and blue.

The list has no end. You can not be a MS or elder if you are cought watching R rated movies.

I can remember fred best now pased on used to watch laugh in and at the time this was a very eye brow raising thing to do for a rank and file little own a member of the 144 thousand as fred was.
