Shunned again

my son called me yesterday, first time in probably 6 weeks, because he lost his car keys, the car is in my name, so i had to get another set from the dealership.

anyways, it doesn't really matter what he called about, it was just in 6 weeks he only calls because he needs something, not a peep before that (very hurtful).

a brother drove him to my office and it was quittin time so i went outside with him and gave him the keys, i was hurt and didn't say much to him.

Its all about control, As bad as it hurts do not let them make you feel wrong, You may even get a feeling of giving in to be accecpted by family. This will only lead to more problems. Move on live this is the best defence against a JW.

Never beat yourself up over this, it is them, The farther you get away from them the clearer it is. I used to think that maybe if I did this or that. Now the thought of going to an assembly or meeting would be like serving up a plate of vomit for dinner. It makes you shutter and your gut flop around.

I would rather slam my dick in a car door than go to a meeting, And most guys will know how that makes you cringe.

I hate these bastards, I will tell anyone who will listen how much damage they do to familys and individual people.

Welp- Talked to an elder

spoke to an elder and mentioned i had some concerns that need addressing.

he asked if it's about the organization and i answered with a simple yes.

it's something i don't want to do, but for some reason the better half thinks it's necessary, as if i need a different perspective on my research and maybe he'll be able to shed some light on my doubts.

They will not deal with it, they never do. The only thing you can do is draw attention you and your doubts.

I have tried it all over the years and nothing worked. The best I did was have a elder who was a partner in business cover up for me. But only because he did not want the hastle of getting told to keep away from me and cut off his income.

Once the cat was out of the bag, They ran like cockaroaches in the light. They will try to give you some gobledigoup answer that would not work for a 1st grader, and if you do not accecpt it with out question then you are on a list of marked people.

The only way to win is not to play, do not deal with them, just live your life and when asked tell them you have marked them and can not associate with them untill they have saw the error of their way, and that you are not being mean but it is out of love that you do this.

JW's and weddings

i am sure this has been discussed before, would appreciate anything on this.

i was always under the assumption that a jw was not allowed to be an attendant in a 'worldly' wedding.

meaning that you would not be able to be a bridesmaid or groomsman if you were baptized.

My brother was not allowed to be in his cousins wedding, He was not baptized, Now that marrage has ended in divorce, as so many dubbers have.

My grandfather who was an elder told me that witness marrages held up much better than nodubber marrages. What a load of $hit. Not true. I can count 16 divorces of dubbers, and if they have a union that lasts, it is gods org. that did it, and if a divorce, satan is working over time against dubbers, heads I win tails you loose.

Dubbers are room temp I.Qs and it is best to keep away from them, they are like toxic waste, you can not be around it an not harm youself.

You can only keep away from the toxin.

One of the big reasons I moved from North Michigan and the Babcock family is becasue of how blindly stupid these idiots are,, covering up for people they like who smoke, cheat on spouces, and the like. The Babcock family crazy goes way back when my uncle Dick and his wife Ella raped a girl and the old Wolverine congergation covered it up and paid the girl off, this is but one in a long line of stupidity that goes on in a cult.

Keep away from Jehovah's witnesses or any religion for that matter. They have only one thing in mind, getting your money and you to blindly believe in talking snakes. Life is short and you do not need to believe in fairy tales to have a good one.

Unrealized hopes and dreams - crappy reality of life

i am thankful to jehovah's witnesses who taught me the bible.

i still believe it is the word of god.

i have studied other spiritual traditions and have compared different teachings and haven't found one that gives such a positive outlook on the future.

Hopefully you will be able to make the last step and stop believing in talking snakes. You have to move one step at a time, but you will get there, as long as you keep walking away from religion.

Even after I left the cult I would burn things thought to be evil, I.E. Apostate material. Now after leaving the cult and deprogramming myself. I laugh at the thought of believing in a book that only exists because a group of bishops got together and decided what old writings were gods word and which were not, and then I ran across a couple of great books, "the greatest story ever sold" "the book your church does not want you to read'

I am sure there are others but this along with the book by Richard Dawkins "The god delusion" more for a person who has come to understand that religion, all religion is a scam.

Keep questioning and you will see that there is no answer to life's problems, no one can help us but us, never once in history has there ever been any help from above or below, Things happen and there are no big man in the sky directing things. This is a left over delusion from our unenlightened past.

One thing to remember is that never once in the history of the Dubbers has one thing, not one thing every happened the way they said it would, Even the Russell predicted ww1 is a total lie, he said that the big A was going to happen. Nothing about a world war. And if you are a student of history, you will note that contrary to dubber teaching, there was not world of peach preceding the war, there was a lot of build up to the conflict.

I have asked and never once have they ever been able to give me anything but the type of reasoning that the Nostradamas people give "well if you change the L to S you get Hitler, and if you rearrange this and add that and then multiply by 1.456 you get close to something that could have happened. LOL Religion is a joke. If you want to believe you have to believe by faith, or with out evidence. If these people really had faith why would they strive so hard to twist archeology finds to support their belief?

The Convention Is OVER!

thankfully i was able to milk my cold this week enough to skip friday.

saturday i sat with friends of mine and was able to sufficiently tune out everything i heard.

Deserter, I left Michigan becasue of the family of dubbers that lived there, and the weather and the sinking economy. Where do they have the ass. now? I used to go to the silver dome, Very hot, and now no food, and bring your own and got yelled at for having a cooler, cant win with these assholes.

Every year they would have several old people who died or had to be medivac out becasue of heat stroke. I worked with a guy named Kunde who would tell me that "thay[the old people who collapsed] did not have to come to the assembly" then a few years later Karl [his dad] died at the assembly. I thought it kind of poetic justice for the uncaring statment he made about other people.

My wifes family is named woods, and mine is babcock, A bunch of room temp IQs LOL

she saw some old buddies of mine (sure ain't my buddies when they never come by just because of differing beliefs...), and they asked how i was and she told them that i was an apostate, and that i had been brain washed!!!

Im with ya, My family and my wifes family have not visited with us for over 3 years. All because of the day I let loose on a single elder who came by to bring me back into the cult. I hit him with the 607/586-7 thing, and many other falshoods. Now I am branded an apostate, code for not brain washed. Well if they are going to be that Fing stupid I do not need them in my life. I am better off without people like this. And so are you, find people who accpt. you for who you are. You will be much happier in the long run. I have a question for the elders/ex-elders

what would the elders do if they learned about a brother that went to the business expo at the local church?

It would be a con. thing. Just like when I owned a carpet store, I never turned down a job form a church, and was called on the carpet punn intended, for it. I found out through a grandparent that was an elder to say the my check did not come from the church, they have stupid rules all over this stupid cult. If you do not get paid direct from the church it is up to each indiv. if they want to do the work. Same for going inside a church for another function other than religion.

Some dubbers are so controlled by the cult, they would sit around and argue if it was a sin to watch the 4th fire works from your house window or if it was only wrong if you expended the effort to drive to a place to see them. LOL

What a joke these idiots are, I am so glad to be rid of these assholes. Goodridens to stupid people.

No school for you: confirmation of CO outline on education

i just spoke with my dad after he returned from an elders meeting.

the co did say that elders would have to step down from their positions if they supported their child getting an education.

the reasoning behind this is that an elder is encouraging their children to attend college, they would not be able to counsel the rank and file on the issue.

I am 45 and semi retired. I was told that people who go to college were just people who wanted to drink and have sex. I was tought to look down on higher education. I feel much regret for all the stupidity I bought into.

I am now getting redy to go to college partly for self fulfillment and the other part to jab the society even if only in my own mind.

The damage that these people do is very great, We must all fight against the JWs at every chance, tell anyone who will listen that they are toxic people and to keep any one they care about away from the JWs.

Do you get upset when people don't believe that same way you do?

is it a normal reaction to get mad when you talk to someone who doesn't believe that way you do?.

the reason i ask is that i don't believe in the most common christianity.

when i come across a person and they ask how i feel about something and i tell them how i feel.

I am an atheist and have never had any one jump on me that I can remember.

There is no evidence that god exists, if you want to have faith knock yourself out. Faith by deff. is belief in something without evidence. Remember how the dubbers put it [expectations of things hoped for] I can hope that little green men will come to earth and take me for a joy ride in their tricked out saucer, That makes it faith based.

If anyone wants to buy into this fairy and unicorn type of belief system it is theirs to believe.
