  Do You Know Your Blood Type?

  with all the information we have nowadays, out of sheer curiousity, do any of you know your blood type?

  for some, i know the blood-issue is a touchy subject, but it's interesting to know it.

  you'd be surprised especially when the case of an rh-negative mother may give birth to an rh-positive child.

  i'm curious as to whether you've ever smoked.

  i've never put a cigarette or any thing similar to my lips.

  i've never had the desire.

  Yeah ah did. And still do. But don't want to. I'm down to about six a day and I only smoke the first half inch and then toss it.

  I figure I've smoked at least a boxcar full of the noxious weed from Columbia. Then I became Jesus. For a little while at least.

  Hillary, you funny. And way off track. I know lots of folk who didn't want any "responsibilities" in the congregation, and I'm one of 'em. I had better sense after living with my uncle, super-elder while I was in college.

  The people here who observe that the WT uses you up, sucks you dry, and discards you are right, you be wrong.

  Also for UK - did your congregation do anything with other congregations?

  hi eveyone, did your congregation ever have organised gatherings with other congregations nearby?

  my old congregation rarley mixed.

  there was so little social life that we had no choice but to visit other congs.. another question - did you get any counsel if you constantly attended a kingdom hall other than the one you were assigned to?

  then why do some animals also mate w only one mate for life?

  even some termites mate monogamously.

  why is it that some animals, the minority were given this divine institution by god, but to other animals god gave poligamy, and temporary shack up for fertilisation purposes only?

  Right Tammy. And there's another aspect of that dynamic as well. When the male was around all the time, then he could be pretty certain that the offspring that he was expected to support for years and years was indeed his.

  No guy, right up to this very day, wants to be held responsible for paying support for another man's child. So the women who were inventing these new social rules worked in yet another aspect that would be attractive to males - easy proof of paternity.

  I like my two rings. One is an oval cut emerald in a gold setting. The other is an oval cut black fire opal set in silver which I only wear on very special occasions.

  WTBS God's faithful slave?

  i have been doing "scriptural battle" with my mother and step-father who have been practicing witnesses for nearly 40 years (i did not grow up in their household), and i need an answer to a question i have not been able to find on every jw website i have been scouring.

  perhaps someone out there can enlighten me!(?).

  i am trying to understand where the wtbs got the idea that they are "jehovah's faithful and discreet slave"?

  after deprogramming, i found that i was a lot more at ease and comforable with who i am.

  this transferred to how others treated me.

  i no longer struggle with that unending battle between who i was/am and who the j-dud masters told me i should be.
