  WT Books Going Missing

  i recently visited my local library looking for books on jws.

  checking the computer system i found that pretty much all the 'anti' books had been marked as 'lost'.

  This is another potential reason for us to exist. The average Joe Sixpack would never take notice of such things as books missing from library shelves. We notice however and can point out this unfortunate fact. And we can also identify the reason this is happening.

  The JWs act just like every other tin-horned dictator and rule making tyrant the world over. They absolutely cannot tolerate even mild criticism, much less the raw, unvarnished truth and that's why books like Crisis of Conscience and all the others go missing from library shevles. These books tell the truth about the JWs, and the JWs can't have that. That is the last thing the witnesses want even though they claim to represent the only channel for the expression of truth on earth today. Truth to a JW is like a mirror held up to a blood sucking vampire. They can't stand the truth.

  i keep saying i am going to start a thread on this topic so here goes.... what, if anything, is always morally wrong?

  murder, rape, incest?

  how much do you think your belief, or lack thereof, in a higher power influences your opinion?.

  I think it would be good before getting too far down the road of this conversation to get a good working definition of the term moral. I haven't read all the pages in this thread so maybe it has been done. But if we can't define what is a moral issue in the first place then this discussion is premature. Perhaps we should start with TABOOS.

  we are leaving on sunday for our camping trip.

  we will be gone for 11 days, and i will likely not be posting.

  i will be having some computer access, but probably won't have time to post, as i am filling orders usually.. we are meeting up with about 40-50 all together, many from this board, including princess and her family.

  See? See? See? They be stayin' in a CABIN. Now what kind of camping trip is that? Cabin. What you needs are TENTS!!. No running water. No sewage system. No stoves.

  After you all gets through with your, erm, camping, you come over here to go with me to MacQueen's Inlet on the ocean side of St. Catherine's Island. Nothing to eat but shrimp, crabs, and fish and you gotta catch them first. Gotta take your own water. Make your own outhouse. And stay away from all the endangered species brought to the island from Africa, like: Impala, giraffe, chimps, and, em, gorillas. Now THAT'S camping.

  An' Mulan, clam up dear one. If not, I know how to make a sleepless night the most horrible experience of a lifetime. 'Specially wid dem GO-rillas skulking about.

  her ladyship and i are off on holiday tomorrow.. we're flying to corfu, a greek island not far from the coast of albania.

  we're staying in a pub in a village called paleokastritsa in the north-west of the island.http://www.agni.gr/index.htm.

  this is our first time ever to greece, so our anticipation is running high!.

  I hear this is a "camping trip" like having your newspaper and turn-down service at night complete with a mint on your pillow is a camping trip.

  Y'all don't hurt yo' seffs ovah there now before I have a chance to come visit in your "neighborhood" and make certain discoveries for myself, y'heah now? If I ain't on that trip next year, I'll be wanting to know the reason how come!

  it seems even elders are unaware of the official policy of the watchtower bible and tract society when it comes to the act of shunning "former members.

  Shunning former members is more prima facie evidence of the universal kind that the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses are a cult. This shunning of formers members is as common in a cult as a winter cold.

  Think. Cults, especially JWs, are high control organizations. If these high control organizations cannot keep their membership from leaving by some hook or crook, they look weak to other members. And I contend that if any JW could leave and not be shunned by friends and family, there would be a massive stampeed of the membership of JW-ism out the front door never to return.

  But don't take my word for it, especially you lurkers. Look it up for yourself. Use the Google.com search engine and search on cult characteristics. There you will find multiple confirmations of what I am claiming: that is, by their active shunning, JWs prove themselves to be a cult. By the utter lack of love shown by this policy, JWs prove themselves unrelated in any way to the kingdom of love as established by the God of Love and introduced to man by the Prince of Peace.

  Jehovah's Witnesses should be ashamed of the shunning policy and abandon it right now, TODAY, if they are to have any claim as being the children of God. Unfortunately, JWs are so arrogant, they have not the capacity to feel shame, and thus are destined to hear those fearful words "Get away from me. I never knew you." How appropriate for them.

  now, the war is over, the weapons were not used and of course have not been found.. how threatening could they be if they did not even use them when being invaded by a massive force (of the countries they hate)?!

  perhaps, as many suspect, they didn't use them because they didn't have them?.

  now we're being told that we'll have to be patient and give them time to find them.

  the tread on having children got me thinking about birth control and its role in the borg.

  after my daughter was about a year old we tired to have another child.

  The answer from QFR quoted in the first post said, "We can be guided in this matter by the principle that is set down in the law of God given through Moses."

  Notice that the WT says we "can be guided...by the principle set down...through Moses." This obviously is a dodge around the plain words in Galatians that says, essentially, anyone attempting to put you back under the law of moses should be given the hot foot, forced to eat grits, and also be given an indian burn by everyone in the congregation, then be kicked outsided the gates where the weeping and the gnashing of his teeth from the cold will be."

  Isn't it disgusting to you that Galations is so clear in its meaning, but the JWs can ignore it at their will and re-impose the Law, by re-imposing the principle?
