  Life After JWs

  i wanted to share some very cool (in my opinion) news.

  in two months i will have been gone from bethel for 14 years and attended my last meeting 11 years ago.

  i spent 11 years at bethel sacrificing all of my 20's to the borg and finding myself at age 32 with no resume or real work experience.. it has been a tough haul with the majority of my energy going into building a career.

  Most definitely. A planet with conditions very similar to earth has been located in another galaxy. It has yet to be confirmed if intelligent life exists on the planet.

  Northern/Central California meetup ~end of June/Mid July???

  i will be coming out to the sierras/reno/lake tahoe this summer from the end of june through mid july.

  don't know my exact dates yet- depends on the dates for snowmelt in the high sierra.. anyone up for a meet-up then??

  we had such a blast last year .

  i have read a lot of jw books without seeing anything on gay and lesbian community.

  is there a place for them in this organization?

  if jehovah does'nt care about them why does he carry on "creating" them?

  This is friggin' unbelievable!!! Just read the scan on page 2...OMG...whoever wrote this...thanks for the ammo!

  I think we all know that they mean its okay to go from non-JW to JW but its not okay to leave the JWs. However, its still great ammo...gonna see if I can snag an actual copy of the mag from somewhere...sure there's a bunch laying around in a laundromat somewhere...

  WT Society's Skewed View of Speaking Truth - June 15th Witness Only WT

  once again our lurking jw friend sent us a copy of the june 15th " witness only " watchtower.

  all i can say is that the wt society sure knows how to compartmentalize and pick and choose how they view truth and honesty.

  i'll share some of these " golden nuggets " and see what you think.

  However, when you don't completely answer a question with an intent to mislead or have someone draw a conclusion other than the truth...that is lying. People who do this, when confronted, will respond along the lines of "I never said that, thats simply what you concluded."

  This happens a lot with bible students and in their preaching work. The JW bible study conductor will only partially answer questions of their bible students and often the bible students do not learn the complete truth until after they are in the org.
