I disliked Affleck for years, considering him a pretty-boy who lucked into his success. Guess I was just jealous. Then one night, I saw him host an episode of Saturday Night Live and my opinion of him completely changed. He came across completely differently and I've been a fan ever since.
Back to the movie, I just checked the grosses for the weekend and it looks like Affleck beat out both Anakin and Peter Parker earning $31.2 million. Not too shabby.

Gosh, I used to love the Electric Company! It's hard to believe now that both Morgan Freeman and Rita Moreno were on that show. Not to mention the Amazing Spider Man! LOL!

This is just more double-talk from the WTB&TS trying to duck and cover.
I actually got into an argument yesterday with JW family members who absolutely insisted that this letter tells them that you are not required to have two witnesses to the incident. I'm sure they reached this conclusion upon hearing it read at the service meeting and then quickly glossed over. I'm quite sure this letter from the society won't be posted on the bulletin board at the back of the Kingdom Hall for all to read thorougly.

i think that since the airing of dateline on jw pedophiles, that many of the public will be fearful of the jw's and will absolutily tell their children to not talk or let the jws in their homes.. i see it playing out this way in field service over and over again:.
jdubs come to the yard of someone with kids,.. and right away the householder has all their children quickly go inside for fear they might be molested.. i think going out in field service will get harder and harder for the dubs because of all this very very bad publicity.. probably many pioneers will stop pioneering because of this.
and many dubs will secretly lose respect for the wt and the elder arrangement.
This was the first thing that my JW mother mentioned to me when I queried her about the program. She's now fearful that it will keep some from listening to their message.
If this can draw attention to this issue and limit future growth for them then, in the words of Martha Stewart, "It's a good thing!"

well two little old ladies came knocking at my door, watchtowers in hand and their little sheets of paper.. well i asked them point blank if they had seen the show and one of them had and proudly told me that she had not only seen it but taped it.
i suggested that the other go to watch it and she said she would.. gutsy little ladies i love them.

Never been much into games like Quake - you've got to be a little too 'twitchy' to play them. Can't stand the idea of stuff jumping in front of me.
However, I am completely addicted to Evercrack, er, Everquest. I tried playing DAoC for a bit, but it felt so deserted compared to the world of EQ that I finally gave up and went back to Norrath.

i work in downtown fort worth, texas, and i went out for lunch today (benigan's to be exact).
when i finished my lunch and was walking back to my office...lo and behold....witnesses ....with their little blue tags.....everywhere!.
Man, weren't those cheese danishes the absolute best? That used to be the only thing worth looking forward to about the assembly. We also used to get Krispy Kreme donuts before the morning sessions...can still remember sitting there as an eight year old eating donuts and drinking coffee. LOL!
