I'm soooo sorry. I didn't mean to desert you, honest...this thread just sorta slipped away from me.

I was sad to see that Mark didn't win last week, but I figured that was how it would go since he was the one I was rooting for. I always have bad luck when it comes to picking the winner in these things.

I was also glad to see that RJ was back. After Simon's behavior during his critique he definitely deserved another shot.

Unfortunately, I missed it last night as I had to watch Big Brother. There's a guy from my home town and I just had to see how he did last night.

Just my two cents, but there is one thing that Lance Bass can bring to this expedition that neither Tito nor Shuttleworth could provide: massive, mega, ultra-publicity. I couldn't tell you more than a handful of people who had heard of either man before their space expeditions, but Bass has a built-in audience.

Not that I'm an N'Sync fan or anything (nah! ) but I think this might just be the smartest move the Soviets could have made. It will increase interest in the space station exponentially and the audience for the launch should be massive.

I was a big fan of MJ for a very, very long time. For quite some time he could literally do no wrong musically, but come on...$50,000,000.00 for a single album? That kind of figure just boggles the mind. Where in the world could you possibly spend that kind of money on an album?

IMHO, Sony has no one but themselves to blame for that kind of cash expenditure. They certainly had to be getting some sort of financial accounting for the album's cost as it was underway.

One of my personal faves is the episode where Sideshow Bob breaks lose, yet again, and attempts to kill Bart. It's the one with the whole "Cape Fear" take-off.

Favorite scene from the episode:

As Bart and Bob are on the back of the boat as it careens down the river, Bart stalls for time and asks Bob to perform the entire score of 'H.M.S. Pinafore'.

Bob: Very well, I shall send you to heaven before I send you to hell.

That show is absolutely brilliant. I've probably seen each episode six times and I never get tired of it.
