that phrase is on this site a lot....and although i have been judged a bit by my old friends......i also do not think i can have friends without conditions......like if i had a friend.....and found out he was beating or abusing his wife.....esp if she was also a friend....that would be a "condition" where he would no longer be my friend....so what does it mean...what about you?....oompa

SC serial killer was a JW!..a friend here knew him and was in same KH
by oompa inmy friend here on jwd who i have known since a teenager texted me today and then called.
he actually recognized the police sketch of the guy!
the murderer was killed by nc cops, after he had executed five people in gaffney sc in the past week or so.

Patrick Burris was his name....41 years old and had a 25 page rap sheet.....an 83 year old woman and her daugher were bound and shot....nobody knows why.....oompa

Total Strangers...would you believe and do whatever they tell you?
by oompa inthat is what i did the first 45 years of my life.
because i was born in...fourth generation...i really did not have much of a choice since i tried to be a good son....my doubts started at 19, but i had been bad enough in high school that i became a pioneer for a year and a half as a form of penance to my parents....soon thereafter, wife and kids and job became a big distraction....and life just happened as it does to must born in dubs........ now that i am out i realize that all of what i was and did and spewed at doors....was actually accepted by me from total strangers!!

The murderer was killed by NC cops, after he had executed five people in Gaffney SC in the past week or so. This killer actually did sub-contract work for our friend here, who wishes to remain anonymous since he is still at some meetings for family reasons. Turns out he was from our area and he was raised in, and went to meetings until about 18...his mom is a real nice sis in FL now.........anywho.....small world...........oompa

Welcome highdose!.......i have been on many a powerful drug like yours too....mostly AFTER i woke up to the things i learned about our JW faith that had never been taught to me at the Kindom Hall. However....the questions i had before my meds...during my meds...and after my meds were still good quesitons to ask....and the answers were still the same.
so take it slow and be very subjective, critical, like the Boreans!.......use the internet, your bible, and JW literature as tools to find REAL answers as to if JW's REALLY have the TRUTH about god and the bible........i concluded they do not, but also concluded nobody else does either.........good luck with your endeavor...this place probably saved my life and since you say you could use support...i PROMISE you will find it here.....we almost all understand, and i have made several really good friends here from my area..........oompa

Otwo: I believe it was Anthony Morris, but whoever. I realized that I didn't even recognize the name. I couldn't name the men in Brooklyn whose thoughts I was promoting to others. It really was the straw that broke the camel's back.
Nice otwo...good to know this was a deal breaker for you......i knew this self-righteous coulple (now at bethel)...and some others in their family too...who always memorized everyones name on the GB!.....and used them at every opportunity...even working them into talks and reviewing the entire list....to kind of remind everyone they were "real" people.....instead of it being positive in anyway for me...it just made me realize even more how i had no clue about ANYTHING substantial about these guys lives.............oompa

The WT contradict the bible they quote in the very next sentence regarding "JWs"!

"acts 1:8.. hence, some 6,000,000 persons today who are telling the good news of jehovah's kingdom by christ jesus in over 230 lands feel that they properly refer to themselves as jehovah's witnesses.. .

Chalam...i still want my back fixed by a dub or ANYONE with this powerful Holy Spirit!.......it supposedly can do all sorts of great things/works....that would definitely help me and many many others believe in it and god......why in the world would god use it like that in Jesus day and shortly thereafter and then take it away only to be "felt inside us"........that is lame and can not be proven.....like an invisible return of jesus.......all these "unseen" aspects of god does not help his credibility imo.........oompa
