gave us some really good advice at this weeks circuit assembly, he was talking about the dangers of the internet, he gave the usual warnings about teenagers meeting strangers or apostates, and dating websites.. but this time he also told the patents in the audience that there is software available which can monitor every website that is visited and everything that is typed on the computer, i was shocked, he was advising the parents to spy on their children, i suppose it might be ok if the child is 10yo but what if he or she is late teens, and they discover that their parents have spied on them, imagine how that will spilt the family, and for what?

the cure is worst then the problem.. its simple a case of the wts being paranoid of the interent and they want no one on it..

It is important to monitor your childs searching patterns. It's real easy to do. I just want to make sure that he is safe. My daughter is 17-I have no interest in her searches. She makes adult choices.

When my 12 year old is 17 I will discontinue as well. It is our responsibility to keep them from harms way.

Just quietly peek at the history-if it's wiped out, look at your security program. It's sitting quietly there too. Just don't make a big deal in front of them, unless there is something troubling.

Why Religion?

i have no issue with a person having a spiritual dimension, but i wonder why people have difficulty accepting that the religion that an individual makes up inside their head is no more or less worthy than the ones other people have made up in their heads.. why do people feel the need to have others tell them what to believe and how to think?

simplistic though this may sound, this is at the basis of all religion.

does religion scratch the itch of our insecurities?.

Plus a bit of curiosity. Who wouldn't want to know how this planet really came to be. Except for of course the truly narrow minded.

Will be eating nothing from 9 last night 'till 5 this evening. Scouts buffet tonight. Plenty to enjoy. (Trying to get down to 180). Not easy. I walk 2-3 miles almost every day and my genetics is fighting me all the way.

J-G. Up here I have heard many a discussion about a pipeline down to California. It's about 1500 miles to LA. It seems bad to see so much mountain water going into the ocean. We here drink it unfiltered straight to our taps. Cold too. The rest is overflow and wasted.

I was wondering just what tomato sauce had to do with anything? Really people. Refrain from eating blood. Who's blood? Humans? Cows? Pigs? Chickens? Don't tell me that you are all vegetarians? Just what does eating have to do with a transfusion?

Personally I have donated 40 times times @ 3 lives per donation. I think Jesus would be happy- Who gives a shit what the Jehovah real estate corp says anyway ?

A witness asked me last month how much I got paid per donation. Stupid man.
