question a witness in a very logical manner about their view of blood transfusions and blood fractions and see what you'll get.. ask a witness where in the bible it states that you can't talk to a disfellowshipped family member unless he or she lived in your home.. ask a witness why they need 2 witnesses to establish that a child has been molested but they don't need 2 witnesses to establish that a spouse has been unfaithful and that the accuser may now be free to "scripturally" remarry.. have a jehovah's witness prove to you that filling out a service report is necessary for a christian to have god's approval.. can you think of other proofs that the witness religion is totally illogical??

over the past weekend i replaced the rear brake pads on my 03 mini cooper, changed out the cabin air filter, and steam cleaned the engine.
my friend came over with his 04 ford tarus he wanted me to look at some brake noise in the rear passenger side, turns out it only needed to be cleaned and adjusted.
i also fixed a dash light that was out on my 03 focus, then i noticed that my electric trunk latch is going out, guess i'm off to pick a part this weekend!

I can think of only one area that is to be avoided. The corridor between Detroit and Chicago. The interstate (80/90) highway is awful and there is SOOO much poverty and pollution I witnessed in 2006. Stifling humidity in the summer from the Great Lakes . Now the lakes are worth a visit, especially a small town we discovered called Superior, Wisconsin.

This discussion has always fascinated me. A question: if eating blood is a sin, why are JW's not vegetarian? What do you think is in all meat? Eating blood and a transfusion are 2 completely different things. Now please don't tell me meat can be bloodless.
Also I can also assume the WTS is NOT 100% pro life as in this case. These people choose death-this can hardly be a pro life stance can it?

If something that awful occurs to disrupt the food supply, why would you expect your stockpile to remain intact? Just what kind of disaster should we prepare for that is actually worth living through? Curious.

adam sandler has come a long way as an actor, and i thought he did very well portraying the feelings someone has who keeps the pain of emotional tragedy inside.
i'll never feel ok about all the damage caused by me when i was at my worst.. the movie also made me think about me and my relationships and us as a group of people affected by something so tragic in some cases.
I would like to take a moment to discuss some stuff about this thread. First just a reminder about whereI came from.
I have been studying with a JW "friend" for 5 years and it was just in the last 3 months I decided to find out info by myself. I chose this because as others do, we do some "comparison shopping" . Now imagine my absolute disapointment to discover that almost everything I learned was a crock of shit!. I learned some key phrases and found out about the "worldly people" phrase. I confronted my "friend" and he did his damnedest to avoid an answer. I said I was on to all the lingo and asked him if he thought I was to be destroyed in the new system of things. He was honest enough to say yes. I said his belief that only 144k would be heading there means that you have about 0 chance you would be going to this magic place. I said imagine if I thought you were going to hell and were posessed by Satan for false worship. Would you be uncomfortable sitting next to me? I am!!!!!!. I stated that it is an absolute sin wishing worldly people to be destroyed. So please be patient with people thinking outside the box. God gave us the ability to think for ourselves, WTS took it away.
