i've noticed on this forum the big regret of alot of people seems to be that they didn't go to collage or university.. speaking as someone whose done the whole shebang, i can tell you that while yes i learnt alot at collage, uni taught me very little at all.

in fact anything i learnt i taught myself by spending hours apon hours in the uni libary, which i could have done by just getting a day pass.. my degree has not helped me in my career, i already knew how to do what i do before going to uni.

i run my own business now but i am sure that if i ever went for an employee postion my years of experiance would count far more than the bit of paper i have proving i have a degree.. getting a degree is pretty much down to knowing how to work the academic system.

Sorry , one more thing. Education is the key to success and knowledge. Seems that religious orgs. don't want you to be sooo smart. Smart people stay away from orgs. and cults.

According to CNN he said that abortion in the USA is the reason why there are earthquakes and hurricanes, etc., killing so many people. Are you kidding me, sir. You are one sick individual. If I believed there was a Satan, I would believe that Satan is in charge of The 700 Club.

One more reason why people around the world are losing faith. Perhaps that is a good thing.

FYI. Swear words, or "curse words" originally came from the phrase"putting a curse on someone". Was once though to some extent to be witchcraft.

the thing that sucks is that they are very much alive & we are literally less than five miles apart from each other everyday.

i had a long talk with one of my siblings today.

i've been getting a really weird vibe lately...today it was confirmed that i will be shunned from here on out from them.

Why do these creeps shun, and deny that they do it? I confronted a former friend and he just got really pissed off at me. Needless to say he is a "former" friend. Still calls, but I want nothing from this creep except for the money he still owes.

January 10, 2009. Vancouver. 1 meter of snow. (39.37 inches for USA folk.) Way below freezing for a month. My gas bill for the period was $270 for 1 month.

July 28, 2009. Hottest day ever recorded at Vancouver Airportfor ANY day. 38 C. About 95 F.

Today 6 or 42 F and no snow anywhere, just a lot of rain for tonight. Something is wrong....and what is wrong with wanting clean air?

i was raised southern baptist, but i never could get into it.

All the graphs and rhetoric still cannot explain why so much parranoia against climate change. In a nutshell....humans require clean and balanced air. Air is being polluted with fossil fuels around the world. Do you not believe that clean air is a basic human right? Perhaps some people profit from fossil fuels and would not be happy about a reduction in their cash flow. This also explains why car manufacturers are so afraid to offer us an all electric car. Why does the "Volt" take so long to get to retail? Why does it not take advantage of solar panels?

This reminds me of the Glenn Beck story of big and evil government and how your money will be useless. You must buy gold! I must advertise gold. So I (Glenn) can be even richer.

People, please make informed decisions. Don't let others do your thinking.

BTW. When I was a little kid, the sunshine was my friend. Almost never any sunburn. Now...30 years later, a 15 minute walk in the summer and I am suffering from 1st degree sunburns. Never mind the math.
