a friend of my wife just called her and said she was now ready to part with her deceased husband's personal property and was going to be having a big yard sale sometime this summer.

her husband, not her, was a third gen. jw elder and she's setting aside his theocratic library for my wife and i to take a look at before she sells anything in the yard sale.

i told her that whatever she did don't put them in the yard sale because some unsuspecting mind could become disturbed if read unsupervised.

this is a larger version (more pages) of what is printed in the back of the smaller nw translation.

has about 30-32 pages, printed on "bible paper" and covers several topics.

jehovah's witnesses basically define the term "apostate" as someone who was once a member of the "organization" (a jehovah's witness) but no longer follows the teachings, rules, regulations and practices.

the society gives their official definition in the following manner: "apostasy is abandoning or deserting the worship and service of god, actually a rebellion against jehovah god.

some apostates profess to know and serve god but reject teachings or requirements set out in his word.

this is referenced in the pay attention elders' book "the wedding vows that were puhlished in the april 15, 1984, issue of the watchtower, page 14, and that appear in the marriage outline, s-41, should be used.

the society informs us about its purposes .

a loving mother does indeed reveal her purposes to sincere ones who search for her.
