Was the WTS correct?
by chappy inbased on current events, do you think the wts could be at least partially correct on their prediction about organized religion being banned by many governments or even some future un mandate?
what about the western governments (us, britain, france, germany etc)?

religion banned . Banning an idea is impossible and only leads to propogation of said idea. If ever correct direction and right thinking come from deluded zeolots then the world will be very different than it has ever been in history.
A group of people in love with thier own thinking (or lack) is incapable of possessing acurate knowledge . An accurate picture can only be obtained by lucid observation and clarity of thought based on a view made as broad as possible by contact with as much data as possible from as many sources as possible.

What is the Original Religion?

to me, being an atheist means that i don't believe any of the silly nonsense that puny humans have come up with.
many of the religions of man were started during a time when mental illnesses went undiagnosed and misunderstood, a time when man couldn't explain why lightning struck the earth or why rain fell.

sigh ,,, I hate having to stoop to the use of the word "god" in description of the energy that causes consiousness .I am in no way a proponent of listening to seashells for comfort of the existence of the sea.
I am a realist, what I propose as a simple understanding and insight as to the true nature of a human is easily misconstrued into a set belief of a religious nature
The thing I speak of is inherent in EACH and every human being on the planet, it is the key to relieving oneself of a conditioned existence and experiencing life as it is without the cumbersome and wieldy need or puzzling theological conundrum that is the question "Why are we here"
The answer is very simple and unique to the individual , but is obtained in a very simple and identical way.
Coming into contact with ones own true nature reveals the truth instantly, the truth that is felt in a place that meets you 100% , in the place where there are no more questions , in the place where honesty is absolute.
It cannot be conceptualized or described or taken back to show others ,it can only be pointed at . It is impossible to remember or possess it can only be experienced
So I have no doubt as to why i am here or what my purpose is . It certainly is not to change anyone.

Pleasing the creator is simple and anyone can do it .The instruction is not hidden it is not about destruction or imposing oneself on others or attempting to pursuade others. Being what you are as a human being, being what you were intended to be , understading your own true inner nature will reveal how to please the creator
You are not getting where I come from , I can tell from the animosity in your post. The world is perfect , all the pain in life is inevitable, all suffering comes from the refusel to accept that death comes to all.
Confused people will do apparently meaningless and vile acts, this is inevitable too.
We are here to gain freedom from the self imposed delusion we all suffer from . We all die . We all suffer. In spite of the seemingly pointless nature of this we are given the task of overcoming hoplessness and growing strong enough to walk on our own , to do right and to grow straight in spite of the millions of reasons we should despair and fail.
We all fullfill the purpose of the creator sooner or later, seeking understanding can only begin when one has cleared the delusion of this world from the mind and seen the self for what it truly is.
It's very simple.
1. We are free
2.We have always been free.
3.The only reason we don't feel free is because we think we are not free
Thats it , experiencing these truths will change everything ,but untill you are ready to give up everything you believe,it won't come to pass

It has been my experience that when truth is offered two kinds of people make an appearence the intelligent person with a differing world view that needs no affirmation by others to uphold the belief they possess, and the narrowminded, uninspired ,unimaginative ,blind egotistical fool that feels the need to defend the point of view which they possess out of bias ,prejudice, ignorance,self delusion ,lack of experience and fear
Often times these individuals are lacking in education,common decency,courtesy,imagination,and even the barest experience of God in thier miserable little world
Instead of maturely debating ideas they lash out in personal attacks in an attempt to feel empowered or in some way superior to the percieved oponent
It always fails to achieve the desired result and simply exposes thier true nature as an infinitly unpleasent individual
