  i say this because when i was preparing to leave the organisation i did initially agree to have a bible study with an elder and a sister in good standing.

  my only condition is that we use the bible as a means of proving or disproving doctrines.

  they had agreed to that.

  $6,600 Expenses For a One-Day Assembly At a Fully-Paid-Up Hall? WTF!

  the wife just got back from a one-day special circuit meeting (or whatever they call it) at the regional assembly hall.

  it's got a capacity of about 1,200, fully paid for, staffed by volunteers and in use for less than eight hours.

  then the guy making the announcement tells the crowd that the one-day expenses for the gig was about $6,600 (?!!!)...

  This is how it happens: A bunch of High Elders meet in a room. The leader is sent by "Mother" to make a resolution: "Let's add a $5,000 contribution to the ted Jaracs retirement fund (I am being ironic here)". Everybody agrees (or else) and now we have magically created a deficit for the poor unknowing attendants. Praise Jah!

  that word is "define.

  " witnesses redefine words all over the place, and use trick words to obscure what they are really saying.. i have been able to sort through so much garbage just by using that word.

  Ok. Let's say that god exists. Then he/she/it created the universe. But, from what? If before the universe existed, only god existed, then god created the universe from himself/herself/itself. So, if the fabric of the universe came from god's own fabric (energy), is easy to see that you have a part of god in you. Of course, that's assuming that god exists. Make sense or I am too drunk?

  i am still active to try and help family and friends, so that's why i say we.

  i know i have brought this up before, but i cannot get over the fact that every service group i go in, and every dinner after the meeting, or coffee or whatever, no one seems to be reading the magazines.

  no one understands the doctrines of the generation, 1919, not even blood.. when i bring up one of those subjects, one in the group will repeat the phrase we learned at the meetings, such as "blood fractions is not really blood" or "i think the generation refers more to the anointed or something like that.

  Let's say that you go to the ministry all the time and spend more than 10 hours a month. Heck! You expend 40 hours a month. You are also male. But, you always forget to report your time. On the other hand this other brother is super lazy in the ministry but lies in the monthly report. He reports 10 to 13 hours each month... so...

  In this particular case the ex-man still has a certain male part, but the rest is all woman. That's why he still stands in the bathroom.
