desperate or stupid - you decide
by finally awake injust ron has received a couple of phone calls in the last few days from the rbc brother wanting him to come roof a kingdom hall.
now, just ron hasn't been to a meeting since december 2011, and certainly hasn't got a current volunteer form on file.
so i ask, are they desperate or just stupid?.

Watchtower said: Our meetings,
assemblies, and conventions help us to
have courage to speak with boldness
I spoke with boldness about the blood issue (fractions) and was removed as an elder.
The boldness the bORG talks about is speaking what they want you to speak from the bORG literature.

Why do most on JWN not share Ray Franz' views on GB equals SANHEDRIN?
by Fernando ini was not surprised when i read this in coc, last week, as i had come to this view a number of years ago.. what seems surprising is that whilst many have read coc, few if any share this view.. are there any ideas why this might be?.

Do you have any statistical data for this statement?

Angsty post
by zound ini'm not far away from sending out a bunch of letters to all the jw's who i knew when i was one.
the letters are the accumulation of the last few months of research etc.
i've put a lot of effort into wording things just right so that that the jw's don't instantly throw it in the trash.

As soon as they see your letter they'll just think about what they heard at the DC and then they will make sure their blinders on on good then they will label you as an..... ready for this? apostate

My first talk with JWs at the door while on vacation
by troubled mind inthis was the first time in almost eight years i have had a conversation with a jw .
we were on vacation last week at my son and daughter in laws home .
one morning the doorbell rang and as i went to answer it my daughter in law said she thought it was witnesses .

nugget said:Isn't it interesting that witnesses do not know what their current beliefs are.
I think many of them have stopped thinking. When they get to the meetings many become zombies they're there, they go through the motions and most of what's said does not register.
This I think is especially true for the under 40 witless population.

District Convention Symposium “Reject What is False!
by JeffT ini have obtained audio of a good portion of this year's convention program i just posted my analysis of this part on my blog.
while the talk on apostates generated a lot of buzz on the net, the rest of the program contains some real lunacy.
i expect to concentrate my efforts there.

What if a brother ask you if the big A comes, would YOU repent?
by Iamallcool inhow would you answer him?
.
-
ldrnomo
I would pose a question to his question, much like jesus was purported to do. My question would be something like this:
If the big A doesn't come, will you kiss my ass before you die?

Nice lesson, you mean we didn't all begin 6000 years ago.
The narrator sounds like Jack Barr

Do JW's even read the Watchtower?
by zound ini know i rarely if ever read the magazines that i used to promote and place with householders (besides the watchtower study).
hypocritical no?.

I didn't read them, I was an elder and just skimmed the study articles.
Way too boring.
