  Funerals and Disfellowshipped Individuals

  not to "hijack" dogpatch's recent thread, but the experience he relayed in the above topic struck a nerve and i was curious for more input.. http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/jw/friends/188715/1/my-aunts-funeral-at-the-kingdom-hall.

  if there is ever a time when a shred of human dignity and compassion is deserved, it is at a funeral.. i am appalled by the way disfellowshipped individuals are treated, but especially at witness funerals.. the flesh and blood relatives have the right to be there if they choose.

  if you are a witness and you are offended by a disfellowshipped person attending, dont let the door hit you in the @$$ on the way out.

  A couple years ago when we just started our fade, an "annointed" sister at our hall kicked it. Perhaps it's mean, but I can't say I'll miss that crazy bitch. Her teenage daughter was DF for kanoodling with a young man, and her mom totally shunned her and would say the most horrible things about her (calling her a slut in the KH). The daughter is a really nice girl and was friends with me and the Mrs.

  I went to the funeral for her sake since I knew nobody else would talk to her. After the burial everyone went to her dad's house (elder) for tea and snacks. I went there hoping to have a word with the daughter. Turns out her father wouldn't allow her in his house - on the day of her mother's funeral!! F'ed up stuff! When I heard that, it was time for me to go or else I would have had to say something rude to the man.

  Mind Control

  its been a long time since i've been on here and even longer since i posted so firstly hi!.

  i'm doing a college course and my group's project is on cults and the tactics of mind control.

  i was hoping people on here could suggest books, websites and any other hints and tips.

  Marmite is nice in small quantities. You gotta spread it real thin on some buttered toast.

  I've never tried vegamite, but I think it's pretty much the same. It's a beer making by-product.

  My children's grandmother tries to keep them from getting their burned home repaired....

  i knew that jehovah's witnesses were callous and cruel but this just takes it to a new level.. my children's house was burned in a fire and their idiot mother (my ex wife) did not have insurance on the house.. home depot is trying to help them and has offered to donate materials to repair the house and has asked habitat for humanity to get involved to supply the labor.. the habitat for humanity district manager came to my children's house and met the home depot district manager and my children.. after they left my children's grandmother (who lives in the house) told them that if habitat for humanity is involved in fixing the house that she will refuse to live there any more because they are involved with christendom.

  so, she is putting pressure on my ex wife to leave the house burned and leave my chlidren (her grandchildren) homeless.. my middle daughter said "well, we will miss you when you leave".

  my youngest daughter said, "well i guess i won't be seeing you any more because i refuse to live in a burned house when people are offering to help fix it but you and my mother are so stupid and retarded that you won't let them help".. please tell me that my ex wife won't be stupid enough to go along with this nonsense.

  i heard countlessly from zealous jw, that before flood all animals were vegetarians, not killing and eating each other ... as it will be in paradise again.. but was this ever published in a wtbs publications?.
