i recently put up a thread entitled "when can i comment?
" new to the thought process of critical thinking, i have felt overwhelmed by the wealth of information now available to a mind opened up to society-banned material.
Mine was a quick jump - one word - Dinosours.
JWs teach that gods original purpose for the earth was for man and animals to live in peace. But dinosours clearly enjoyed eating each other (not very peacefull). Then look at the fantastic attributes of most animals killing or hiding abilities. The JW fluffy beginning story just doesnt work. Since everything is built on this - the fact that we hope to return to these simpler days - then the whole thing falls apart.

Everyone's different. Getting married at 20 was the right decision for ME. And not because it was the only way to get some action. Sure times were tough financially, but this builds character. I don't regret this aspect of my life one bit.
did you want to belong to a social club but couldn't because it was "worldly" and witnesses don't get involved with the world?.
did you not go to college simply because witnesses say it's bad?.
did you deprive your kids of things because you were a "good jw"?.
this struck me as a nice way to bolster the numbers.. isn't this "preaching to the converted" ?.
is this new or is it just reiterating old news ?.

This is a "loving reminder" of the many precious gifts such as expanded time counting delivered to us thru the faithfull and discreet slave. We truly are a blessed people.

can some one tell me why the last month of the service year (aug 07) has an almost 10% increase over the other months of this year?
july 07 had 12868 pubs, whereas aug 07 had 13852 pubs.
the same increase happened in the previous service year in the last month.
I would guess that if the numbers look bad - the sheep counters will change the way they count.
