  JW family doesn't see me, but got together with my ex....WTF!!!!

  just need to vent.... over the weekend, i let my 9yr old son go visit his dad and then he had to be back home to spend x-mas eve & x-mas day with me.

  so anyway...i call to talk to my son on his cell and he tells me he is at a friend's house playing with his two cousins.

  now the two cousins are my sister's kids and they live in atlanta.

  I'm sad about this situation. JWs are SOOOOO cavalier. Make your views known and be the best mom you can be. Your kid will make their own choice based on real truth of heart.

  Abrahams wife Sarah was actually his half sister

  reading through genesis has been an eyeopener for me.

  i was surprised to read in chapter 20 that sarah was in fact abrahams half sister.

  in verse 12 of this chapter, it mentions how abraham and sarah both had the same father, but different mothers.

  I can just hear my mother say, "Jehovah allows a lot of things but that doesn't mean he approves of it". Maybe that is true but that being said He/She doesn't have a lot of use for women except for procreation. I think that is just a cop out from admitting we have created God in OUR image.

  It is also interesting to know that those people back there were not anglo protestant white people. They were for the most part very suspicious, uneducated, bedouins. You just can't wrap our "values" around their conduct or thoughts. That's where those who have "passed" down the "scriptures" have really screwed up by trying to merge the two cultures and create a patriarchy that continues to "dominate" women in a way that defies questioning . After all, it is "God's Word".

  At least the WT is painting JC a little less white than they used to. (Superman blue eyes..what a trip) and all those chubby Renaisance white people Saints. The Last Supper looks like an after Clan event. We all know that Adam and Eve had to be much darker than the ever white depictions ever produced.

  Women are still being "circumsized" but not it's physical but emotionally, spiritually, and mentally.

  for those of you that dont know me, i am a single dad with 3 boys for 5 years now, my x signed her rights away long ago.. .

  no support ever, no insurance, even before she signed her rights away, many long stories of her abuse that caused her to lose custody to me years ago, she has never dealt with her abuse over even acknowledged it, i put my kids thru years of counseling, and they do not wish to see her, she has been calling alot lately, i dont hear from her for maybe 4 months at a time, she is crying , wanting to try to see them.. i must tell you she has , mentally , physically, and mentally sexually abused them, and then charged me with sexual abuse, with which it took me a year in evaluations, and family studies , and 35,000 in lawyer fees to disprove, and the judge saw her lies and removed them from her for abuse.

  i also believe she has many emotional problems , both real and imagined.

  Big D, She just seems totally nuts. Unless SHE readusts HERSELF with long term professional help (and it would take a long time) she has no rights to your children. If she persists you might get a restraining order. Call blocking. Simply giving birth does not give her special rights especially in view of how she has conducted herself. Your job is protect your kids, love them, and it sounds like you are doing a good job. Don't let her try to "guilt" manipulate you. This is her lesson to learn. She turned on the heat and SHE has to sit on the burner...not you...not your boys. She's already made her mark on them don't let her do any more. Give them the tools to be good men as they will need them when she approaches them as adults. With you as a role model they should turn out to be fantistic.

  Wow, Frances Farmer. I hadn't thought of her for years. Her individualism and her resistance to people forcing her to be the norm really did cost her. Her mother wanted her to continue to be a movie star and had her declaired mentally insane. They put her in the looney bin and finally performed a lobotomy. A worker at the facility would let soldiers from Ft Lewis have sex with patients and charged extra for the movie star. I know a woman who was a nurse at that facility who remembered Francis walking around wearing one shoe. There was a pretty good movie made about her with (can't remember her name...she is really a good actress...was in Tootsie...somebody help me out here....oops got it, Jessica Lang). It's worth seeing.

  Thanks for posting her writing. I had never read it. Awesome.

  one of the ot laws is to not boil a young goat in it's mother's milk, and eat it.

  I remember that vividly. There must be some copies floating around (esp on the internet) as it is the rage for entire bridal parties to practice it and do it at the wedding reception. It's pretty cool.
