Boring bookstudy book...which one was the worst?
by White Dove ini remember the old timers saying that the red babylon book was the hardest to understand.. in my memory, i'd have to say the isaiah books and daniel book were the most involved and boring.. the revelation book had gorgeous pictures in it (the writing was horribly boring), so i just looked at them, and i was 22 at the first study of it!.

I've bought the first
by John Doe intwo seasons of the x files, and i'm hooked.
i never watched it much when it was on tv because fox didn't come in very clear.
there seems to be about 3 different formulas that the show uses, and they're all based on those formulas while chaning up names and places.

I loved the X-Files. The weirdest one was I think called "The Family" Where it opens with a group of boys playing baseball and a buried baby is discovered that has just about every mutation a child could have. There starts the investagation. It has overthemes of "The Andy Griffith Show" since it takes place in a very peaceful small town which has an secluded and secretive family that has lived there since before the civil war that no one interracts with. Creepy, funny and bizarre ending.
I liked it until Duchovney left.

Do JW's EVER admit to being wrong about any topic?
by gaiagirl inwitnesses are trained to believe they are right when speaking about the bible and their beliefs, even when reminded that their beliefs have been "adjusted" for "new light".. .
do jw's you know admit to being wrong on any point, whether or not bible related, or are the "always right" even when shown to be wrong?

No. They just get "new light".

WT Believes Demons Can Repent and Join God's Org.?
by cameo-d inin 1878 j. g. smith published a novel titled seola.
in 1924 it was revised by a bible student (jw) and published under the title angels and women.
it was recommended by the watchtower society in two golden age magazines.. according to the watchtower's view of how the book was written, angels and women is an automatic writing book.

Because that was in 1928 and my "training" started in 1952 when I was 8 mos old. Because they change their mind. It might be different in 2008. They have stated the same case for Adam and Eve (no mistakes because they were "perfect") and people killed in the flood were killed as a judgement, Hitler won't likely be resurrected because "society" warned him to leave "Bible Students" alone. I don't believe any of it but thats what "they" say when it works for them.

In my training in the borg the "angels" that fell away could never be redeemed because they were "perfect" and did not make a mistake but a "decision" that could not be undone.

I'm sorry. JWs don't give what's needed because they don't have it. Empty legalism.

Your Dreams
by LouBelle inwe all have dreams - some of us see those dreams to fruition.. my constant dream/desire is to have a little bit of land in the country somewhere, with a cow (bell around her neck and all), some chickens running around, a veggie patch, a herb patch.
a safe home.
friends popping in.. a very simple dream..

I kind of have some of that dream already. I have almost an acre with 2 big dogs, 3 cats, 2 sheep (lawnmowers) and 3 new chickens. I'm not in the country and wish I had a natural water source but for now it's good, really private. You are welcome to come and stay.
