They Infiltrate Every Aspect of Ones' Life
by LouBelle inafter being out of that faith for about 2 years now, i look back and can't believe how they controlled so many aspects of my life.. we let them in and like a deadly disease they just spread and take over.. what we could and couldn't believe, who we could and couldn't associate with, not allowed to play sports, watch what close you were, don't make friends with that one, do this, don't do that, read this, answer this way, sell that mag, contribute to our fund, contribute to the magazines, contribute to building, give us your precious time and you get zippo for it.. and we let them!!!!.
man i'm so happy i'm out - not a day goes by that i don't celebrate my new life, my new friends, my new interests..

i have 3 little ones and they were all 2.5 years apart at that time.

Australia Bethel Sister suicide due to health problems is this justified??
by Witness 007 inbethel = about 4 years ago a former pioneer / bethel sisiter and husband had to leave due to bad health and move to the suburbs.
some time ago while working on some "worldly" job some shelves hit her in the back causing server injury.
she suffered with her pain till she could not stand it any more.

still considering going back to meetings...
by oompa innot that i want to or anything, but this therapist guy seems to think that it would be really helpful to my wife.
he says to pull out the good and ignore what you dont like, and that supporting my wife a bit in this way could be good for us as a couple.
it could also let us have at least some shot at keeping the old social life alive.

I agree with worldtraveler, If the therapist isn't willing to subject him/her self to going to the meetings with you then he/she will NEVER get a taste of what you have gone to. Your wife has "free will" to go and YOU have "free will" NOT to go. Would she deny you your God given rights any more than you do hers?
