Your favorite and worst months of the year and why

worst months: .

november....usually no snow and no heat, and it's dark.

march.......that's when you get more snow storms and the winter just won't go away...... .

My worse month is November. In my part of the world, it is grey and rainy and yukky and depressing.. I also don't care at all for February. Even though it is the shortest month, it always appears to be the longest because we are in the dead of winter and it seems it will never end.

My favorite months are June, July, August. I LOVE summer!!! I am one who never complains about the heat, that's for sure. Because summer is waaayyy too short in my part of the world.

Amazing!

My study conductor and I watched a one-hour movie on the Watchtower a couple of weeks ago. I could hardy believe how this organisation functions. Anyway...

Most of you on this forum probably already know how they proceed to produce those illustrations. It sure came as a great surprise to me. They go at lenghts to dress people in costumes, place them is position, then the artists paint the illustrations with great details. Absolutely nothing seems to be left to hasard. Then, it is inspected and re-inspected as nauseam...

"As a professional illustrator and painter, I am very aware of the amount of time and concentration that goes into a painting or an illustration. Any artist doing a piece is acutely aware of every line and brush stroke. It is therefore exremely difficult for me to believe that many of these images, objects, and shapes were not purposefully embedded into these illustrations in question."

BUT...what happened between 1933 and 2007 in order for the "truth" to become so distorted or altogether hidden at times?

Adult sibling rivalry.....

i love my kids and my grandkids.

but.. it seems like the season of "giving" brings out pent up hard feelings from the year.

you do more, give more.. blah, blah, blah for one over the other.

I have twins who are now adults. And this "rivalry" is still alive and kicking. It often comes out as a joke now. Still, I believe the joke often covers a hint of truth. And sometimes, it is downright on the ridiculous side.

For instance...last week, I was talking with my daughter about ideas for Christmas dinner. I happened to mention that I would make a certain favorite dessert for her brother. Right then and there, she said...and what are you going to make for me? Goodness, this girl is a chartered accountant!!! But it seems the minute they come back home, they revert to their childish ways.

How do I deal with it??? I don't pay too much attention. It seems to be a lost cause. I am only grateful they are good kids who are healthy and earn an honest living. All else does not matter too much in the scheme of things:-)

i'm really sick and tired.. yes, sick and tired of the weirdos, sickos, the mentally ill that need to be institutionalized for their own good, the homeless, the beggars, the drug addicts, the free clinic waiting rooms full of sick people who could be carrying tb and the like.. so i quit my job, and i'm starting a new one tomorrow.

i'm leaving one job for another.. actually, seeing all those things was too painful after a while.. what, you think i was leaving jwd?.
