  i think now that the governing body is in this big power grab in order to stay alive as an entity, thus tighten control, the more controling the more they open themselves up to legal consequences.. blood tranfusion forbiden by a authoritarian religous corporation.. disfellowshipping enforcement that brought pain and suffering thousands i'm sure these type of lawsuits could break them but i'm not well versed in law so i thought i would thow this out for discussion.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/class_action.

  Good luck but the 1st amendment gets rite in your way here.

  Lets face it organizations with way more wacky idears opperate with the full protection of the 1st IE the "KKK" "Man boy love association" and many more.

  All the WTS would say is you knew the rules when you became a JW.

  Appart from the fact that the courts don't like geting involved in these things.

  At a Royal Commission anyone can apply to make a submission.

  They will appoint a group of M.P's from all partys and they will go around the country takeing subbmissions.

  Anyone who has any information regarding child abuse among the J.W's should apply to make one.

  The Decline of Elders and Ministerial Servants

  i seem to remember somebody saying that since the 90's the number of elders has declined from 90000 to 60000. does anybody have any hard figures regarding this?.

  the organization is desperate for "qualified" men.

  but their standards are much too high, especially the monthly field service hour requirements tagged on to endless meetings and congregational busywork.

  They have lowered the bar for being appointed i see Elders who at best are not up to the job.

  One had smoked far to much dope in his younger days and was a dreadfull specker and slow in speach used to dribble on.

  One was appointed an Elder as he was ripping off alot of bro's ...he was an accoutant and was doing their books.

  Ended up doing 2 years inside.

  Many are just too old and not up to it but like the statis.

  Loyalty Questions in Judicial Hearings

  i've seen several posts on various threads about a particular "loyalty question" or two that elders ask during judicial hearings.

  granted it's been several years since i was an elder, but i never heard of this practice.

  is there anything officially in print on this from the wt?

  They may ask you if you think the govening body is Gods sole channel of comunicating with his people here on earth or something simular.

  You can say yes or say any thoughts i have on that matter i would prefure to keep to myself.

  We had one bro who was not fully plugged in.

  There were 4 pregnent sisters in the congro and he confessed to the Elders he was the father to them all.

  One sister who would go home after the service meeting and go from door to door till after midnite.

  One guy appointed an Elder ( he was an accoutant) he was ripping off bro's & sisters all over the place he did 2 years inside.

  One elder(Married) was screwing a sister (she was also married) and was on J.C's D.fing people for imorality.
