one of the most controversial practices of jehovah's witnesses is the operation of judicial committees.
these specially-assigned inquisitory boards are manned by at least 3 elders and interrogate, investigate and finally prosecute a person believed to be guilty of any number of offenses.
these offenses can be anything from heavy drinking, masturbation, swearing to infidelity, apostacy even issues of bloodguilt.
My Brother was DF'ed and it turns out 1 of the Elders(married) on the JC was haveing an affair with another married sister.
So how can they possabley say the ''Holy spirit" was with them???
But they can always use the cureall ''Imperfect man" excuse.
i wake up thinking: what if my boyfriend and i die a terrifying death during armageddon?
with no hope of any life afterwards?.
do any of you ever feel that way?.
If the WTBTS is so convinced they are rite about everything why don't they come on here and have an open debate?
Ive tryed debating with them they just walk away...not interested in anything they are not told to listen to.

to cut a very long story short, i was raised a jw, i left the wt in january to be with my partner, a non-jw.
i was marked for dating, even though i hadn't attended a meeting since december.
My advice don't waste your time.
I belive it has been tryed before.
The WTS has a large team of lawyers and not afread to use them.
