Good for you! My goal is to ride my bike to the end of the street without having a heart attack. We live on a golf course with wonderful HILLY roads. I still ca't believe I rode my bike everywhere when I was a kid.

Pioneer Sister tells my Wife If your Raped just pray to Jehovah for help??

while being new in the truth my wife dicussed the rape issue with her pioneer {my mums annionted} teacher.

her response was to say if your raped you need to pray to jehovah for help and just yell for him to stop so it's not considered fornication.

i was shocked at this so i found her an awake article about a sister who was assulted by a tradesmen in her home.

SIGH... Mother troubles again...

so i opened up my laptop last night, to check my email and such, and my mom had obviously just checked hers... she was still logged on, which has never happened before.

i felt like i needed to look in her emails, which is not something i would normally do, as i hold privacy as something sacred.

as some of you know, my mom lives with my hubby, me, and my kids.

Oh do I feel for you. My mother was never really a mother either. She is also a zealous witless after years of inactivity. I have allowed her to live with us also, but she has bought a house and is an hour away. I just left her a message last night that we had left and were doing the holidays. No phone calls yet. None of her kids are witlesses now. She is waiting until she can collect dad's social insecurity and then she's moving to AZ. Her kids live in TN and NY.

I suggest talking to your husband and as a united front do what everyone has suggested. That is a poisonous attitude to have in YOUR home. You can still help if need be, but you don't need her in your home. Especially since you and the kids are such a burden. Maybe a single sister needs a roommate. I have a friend whose elderly mom lives with another elderly sister and they are great company for each other. Or she can marry her elder boyfriend.

Good for you for giving her a place to live and sacrificing so much to do so.

Pumpkins in the Kingdom Hall yard....now Christmas lights...you can too

i have been a pretty serious practical joker my whole life....some say i am stuck in adolescence (i hope she is 17).

but anyway, right before halloween i took a couple of pumpkins too close to the road at a farmers place and put them in the kingdom hall front yard....i know i should have paid for them but no one was there.

it was sunday night, and was hoping maybe no one would notice till thursday meeting, but they were gone on wednesday.

I am wanting a white Christmas, but in TN it's a long shot. In Utah, where I was raised, I think they are already skiing. Cold, rainy and muddy can wear a person down.
