  Luke 21:8 and the latest 2008 WT Library

  i was perusing the latest 2008 wt library and i ran a search for luke 21:8 (one of the worst texts you could read to a jw).

  when i first ran the search, the library only popped up with one article from 11/1/64 wt and a reference to some book called the kingdom of god is nigh (published by the wt in 1944, but is not found on the cd.

  i did find it on the internet, though.).

  Need COC - Spanish Edition

  i really need to get a copy of coc, but in spanish.

  i've got a disfellowshipped aunt (who was d/f in 1993) but she is still very captive of the whole wt/fds thing.

  (by the way, she didn't do anything "wrong", per se.

  i've been talking to a guy who belongs to some non-denominational church and here is a rundown of what they believe:.

  -that you should still keep the sabbath.

  -that jesus returned in 1948.

  "christ's coming to the temple in 1918 was entirely unexpected, even to his devoted faithful followers.

  English to Spanish volumes

  ok, so i have no problem locating an article or quote through the english volumes of the wt magazines.

  ) year delay between translating from english to spanish watchtower and awake magazines... and then in 1984, they finally caught up.

  so if i need to look up an article that was in english in the spanish volumes, i can easily find it if it's after 1984 because they will match up (i.e.

  riddle me this about acts 7:59.. ok, so last night i pulled out the 1985 kingdom interlinear and just started perusing through it.

  after a while, i arrived at acts 7:59 where stephen "appealed" to jesus.

  Blood question

  i just had a thought about something... does anyone remember the text where jesus cured someone on the day of the sabbath and the pharisees got mad at him for doing that, on the day that no one is supposed to do anything?

  because, if i remember correctly, jesus then corrected them and stated that it was better to help save a life than to obey every letter of the law.

  where i'm going with this is, can't this scripture apply to the watchtower when denying someone a blood transfusion?

  i've only been on this forum for a short while, but i love it here!

  i have a question for everyone.. first of all, about a year and a half ago, i got on the internet to search for some jw forums.

  i didn't find any right away, but what i did find was information about the wt and all of its inconsistencies.
