  A very interesting question. I can't imagine any goodwill towards her decision from the BOE at least. I would imagine that most of the Elders I've known would be extremely put-off by it because the independent thinking would upset there little private kingdoms.

  school's out, the kids are running around (well actually staring at the video screen), the days are longer and the night are cool.

  I think I'm going to go dig up The Dark Tower books and start over with them (finished the 3rd one and didn't get back into them) I think the following line is one of the best openings ever "The man in black fled across the desert and the gunslinger followed"

  given we are not going to live forever, none of us knows when our time is up, and meaning isn't handed to us on a plate?

  how do we go about inscribing our lives with meaning within unknown constraints of time and resources?.

  I want to get my Nursing degree and help people.

  I want to be the best friend I can be.

  I want my wife to think I'm the best husband in the world.

  And most importantly I want, many years from now, for my son as he recounts his memories of me to say with a smile "My Dad was the best damned dad in the world."

  If I do those things then the rest is a cakewalk.

  okay, first of all: i like the earth, the polar bears, the whales, and any other part of the planet that someone wants to help.

  i appreciate any efforts that people exert.

  the planet is going through global warming and pumping exhaust from automobiles and factories and other sources does contribute to the global warming.

  The exsquisite ridiculousness of the WT's feeble effort at "thinking outside the box" with Sparlock is what's got everyone all cheesed up about this IMHO. Soon there will be something else to gain the attention.

  when i served where the need is great, i wrote down some.

  of the most amazing phrase that people say in the south.. straight to the point.. a few that i found.

  guess what is being said.. 1) as easy as sliding off a greasy log backward.. 2)busy as a stump-tailed cow in fly time.. 3)either fish or cut bait.. 4)even a blind hog finds an acorn now and then.. 5)happy as a dead pig in the sunshine.

  i watch cops tv show(usa) from time to time.

  i noticed that some cops intitated traffic stops of people that went to the well known drug houses and they take the buyers to jail because of possession of drugs, but i was wondering why they leave the well known drug houses alone?
