I have no problem being around gay people. But bring it up a car group and OMG its like the number 1 sin in the world. It got to point where I wanted to stand up for them. I mean its not like their trying to fuck you its just that their attracted to the same sex for whatever reason. Why all this judging of diffrent people that didn't have a chance to get to know "the truth" Isnt your job to teach them. Whats ya viewpoint.

Reflections on suicidal thoughts, JWism and running away from your problems
by neverendingjourney inno, im not having suicidal thoughts at the moment.
thankfully, the toughest part of leaving jwism is behind me.
i was tired of not having answers to my questions.

I never really thought of it as running away from your problems. Its like being a JW you live in this fake world. A world with its own language, money(usually means broke pioneer), people and history. Everyone you meet just loves you so much I mean there no better place to live. It kinda reminds me of the Stepford Wives. Its like a fake world a place to hide form the real "Satanic World". But thats all it is a fake world. Its just a sad dream.

Dating a df girl who wants to go back - Do I have a chance?
by mrburns inhaving read some of the previous posts, i'm pretty sure what the majority answer will be.
my situation is similar.
we met a little over a year ago, she got df over her relationship with me, something that put her in a pretty long depression that she gradually grew out of (with some notable setbacks along the way).

You do have a chance. Don't fight it let her do what she wants to do. She already feel guilty for leaveing and adding more guilt to that is just too much to bare. Constantly remind her of your love and do research on how to break from a cult on your own and try to apply some of the their suggestions on her. Always let her know that its her life not her parents, friends and some organization.

This WT article makes me mad.... this is evil
by dawg init's bad enought that young people in the wt have to sell magizines, risk shunning when they find out the truth about the gb... but this article really makes me laugh and angry at the same time.
the part that made me the maddest was when the father said he "conquered" the habit, lying bastard!

What would you tell CHILDREN of Jehovah's Witnesses?
by Magick ina lot of us grew up as jehovah's witnesses.
we had no choice.
our parents made the choice for us.

Its so hard to convince children about the dangers of wasteing your life away for nothing. Cause the org. is all they known it was all I known as far as religion goes. Its like your satan if you tell them otherwise planting evil seeds in there head or something. I would just encourage them to go to school and at least be able to support themselves cause life isn't a guarentee roadmap. Your not the same person you were 3, 5, or even 10 years ago.

As far as friendships goes with "worldly people" that actually like being around me. I'm going to miss out on my brother life as he gets older. But besides all that no I'm pretty sure if I wasn't a witness I would had screwed up somewhere else in life like getting knocked up or something like that.

I totaly feel everything everone is saying. I wasnt going to post anything cause of "eternal death" give me a break. I knew something was wrong when I was scared of a flock or bird chriping outside my window and when I'm in a real bad storm. I just knew it was Arm. Its so hard for me to be a relationship now. I told my bestfriend in the truth that I was joing the Navy she got over me in three days so did everybody else. I went from JW superstar to oh yeah thats that girl form that show you know. Give me a break I dont fucking need them anyway Im angry right now. I just want my whole family back together again.
