lurker im still searching too , my faith in god has been restored to what it was before i studied and has helped me through recent bad times , when i went to meetings i felt it was more about pleasing men ie elders than god, i believe now that god sees our hearts not the religion that we may have been born into or brainwashed into , i thought jws were oh so different , but it was fake , except a few exceptions they are no different to the worldlys just claim to be !!!

A turning point for me
by dinah inall the newbies are making me go back and re-visit this ton of bricks that fell on my head.
it's alway good to go back and visit where you've been to help you know where you are going.. let me tell you about something i can still remember as though is was yesterday.. it was my 34rd birthday.
i had a few drinks and had to use the "facilities".

What do you think about Demons now?

as many of you know, i'm still inside the borg, but my mind is completely disconnected.
i had a chat with some friends during the week, and they started sharing experiences they had, dealing with demons in the past.. i heard some stories from brothers from cuba, that used to be mediums or "saints", and how the demons "immediately started to attack them when they started learning the truth(tm)".

the only people i have ever known be obsessed with demons were th e, dubs and what a crock of shit some of them came out with, ie if youare inthe truth the demons will try to get you , if you are in th truth jehovah will look after you, what a contradiction !!

fade but make sure you do nothing that warrants being disflelowshippd for around 9 months, because my mate was dissfellowshipped even though she had not been to a meeting for 7 months and someone saw her smoking( or dont get found out )dont worry you will meet genuine friends now and will feel so set free, the truth about the truth set me free xx

i have adopted a grandma !
by looloo inon the way to school each day an old lady would be sat in her window looking out , my little girl started waving at her eventually so i followed suit this went on for about 6 months , a week before christmas i knocked on the door with a present of a big box of choclate biscuits for this old lady , she also had a gift for me and my child (we didnt even know eachothers names ) this is what christmas is all about , making an old lady feel special and she told us how much she looks forward to us passing everyday and her wave , my childs real grandma often passes when on the ministery but does not knock on our door !

by looloo ini recently bumped into a jw i know that told me that her watch had been pinched at an assembly , she then went on to tell me that a lot of worldly people go to assemblys ,so she should have been more carfull !!!!!!!
this is someone that knows im "worldly" i was gobsmacked when i had recovered from my shock i informed her that i would not dream of stealing something despite being "worldly".
i dont even think she realised how offensive it sounded and she is not usually a judgemental person , so it must be all that self righteous association she has been mixing with lol

the strange thing is this girls neice was abused by the same min servant that abused my child and i had to remind her that just because someone claims to love jehovah does not mean they are better than ordinary folk , and hasnt recent times prooved that just becaus esomeones a dub dosnt make them trustworthy.

at that time i was going to the catholic church and i had baptized my daughters.
my exact words to her were, "well, being that if it weren't for the catholic church there would be no "bible" i have allowed the girls to get baptized catholic and that's the way i'm leaning.
