  Worst WT term ever

  my vote for the worst watchtower term is:.

  circumcision of the heart!.

  i can't believe that there are people who can not only say "circumcision of the heart" with a straight face in front of the congregation, but defend its 'meaning'.. other runners up in my opinion:.

  loving provision.... any smattering, from a "new publication" to some perceived advancement.....credit usually given to jah, but often usurped to exalt the borg, fueled and financed by the R & F..... often accompanied by applause

  SPEEDING UP THEIR OWN DEMISE?

  we all know the majority of the society's elders are absolutely useless when it comes to dealing with family matters and as i was sat here reading a number of posts it suddenly occurred to me that watchtower may have started to speed up its own demise.. before i exited my old congregation a young elder was appointed.

  he was married without children (they don't want any).

  after i exited i heard of another young elder who was appointed (they, too, have no children and i don't think they want any either).. the service overseer was a young elder (a right big head and son of the p.o.).

  in my experience, the elder body, including single elders, believes it can direct a family by referring to " the family happiness book"..... yep, all the rich complexities of family dynamic and dysfunction covered in a 192 page book, with non-yellowing pages of course.....

  yeah..... well....... not!!! i swear when things finally reached a breaking point, and a "shepherding call" was offered, i told them "if ALL you are going to do is suggest we study the "family happiness" book, NO THANK YOU!!

  havent heard a peep from the "body" since then..... nearly 3 years now.....

  had i KNOWN it was that easy to shake these dedicated servants who truly are as useless as t!ts on a boar, i might have done it sooner........

  i truly believe they do contribute to what is, i hope and pray, for the sake of the R & F, a steady decline and ultimate demise

  when i first read the subject title, i thought the borg was about to initiate broadcasts in "extremely low frequencies"... imagine my great relief!!!

  (ELF was a political hot potato where i went to college as there was a relay station in the region......)

  Extremely low frequency (ELF) is the band of radio frequencies from 3 to 30 Hz. ELF was used by the US Navy and Soviet/Russian Navy to communicate with submerged submarines.

  The NORCO Jehovah's Witness Circut Assembly 2007 Expenses

  i went to the norco circut assembly and these are the recent $ numbers quoted ... .

  as of 4/14/2007 (the first of two circut assemblies) we had $10,260,22 (a surplus) .

  this convention was held at an assembly hall that is owned by the borg and therefore paid for by the contributions of the r&f as well as built by their volunteer labour......

  and they are being asked to cough up $16K to use it for 2 days?? how much IS a case of toilet paper in sunny cali anyway?

  they will use your good credit, your good name, and then beg off on any deal you might have had, legal or on their word........................whose next?.

  this is a talk i did in 2000, i was going through some old papers and came across this........laugh at me, lol, i don't mind.

  i was a good sister!!!!!.

  what i think is important about this is, i gave the talk in 2000, i was on this board in 2005, and last month i was a small voice on the phone to a radio station speaking against the wt about the disfellowshipping and shunning policies when a member gets a blood transfusion.. there is hope for those that seem hardcore in.. .

  i am betting there was a practice session in the bathroom marked "sisters" 10 minutes before the meeting started

  what a flashback.... not only did i do my "talks" but had to work on the talks for 4 kids too!

  my poor sons..... i made them use a counter/bar stool like a podium so they could get their gestures down!!!! they were so little

  i SO do not miss that waste of time!!!

  Weirdest People you've met while Witnessing!!! {Nut cases}

  i once called on a guy who invited us straight in...then told us he was "lazarus son of god.

  " he had a cazy look in his eye, and would repeat this line every few minutes.

  the brother with me was trying to "reason from the scriptures" that he in fact could not be lazarus...i just wanted to leave.

  out in the rurals... it was an older man named francis ( his wife kept calling out to him that someone was on the phone)

  he called me and the elderly sister i was with "russellites" and really got into it with the older sister...... at one point i was speaking to him and told him it was good to meet someone who was so knowledgeable about the bible and he settled down..... but man was he intense!!!

  the old sister walked off on him, his wife kept yelling that someone wanted him on the phone and he and i ended on a favourable note
