i know that there are enough of you out there who can add good points to this discussion, and i await your opinions.
however, please be aware that i wish for you to take great care in your posts.
i am not interested in haphazard responses.. so as to not give away too many details, i'll simply say that recent events have caused my in-laws to strongly desire my wife to fake a reinstatement.

when i once went to my dr about panic attacks i was having he told me that he wasn't surprised because as he said, " youv'e lived your whole life on the precipice of imminant disarter".
i didn't understand what he meant at the time, now i do.
he meant that the strain of living ones life beliving that the whole world is about to end and possibly you with it ( if you havn't been doing enough for jehovah, and lets face it, your never doing enough) is too much for the human mind to cope with.

when i was attending, an elder would never give tacit approval to a jw's participation on a website like this.
back then procedure was a harsh warning followed by disfellowshipping if the behavior were to continue.. when i was being raised a jw, no witness in good standing, let alone a pioneer, would ever consider allowing his/her children to attend a halloween or birthday party.
seems as though the days of "mental regulating of youth" are in the rear view mirror.... how great is that?
now THAT is a DC i would attend...

i used to go out in service and i always felt not wanted.
i would meet for service and if they could they would send me home, no one wanted me with them in their car groups.
and yes i did shower before going.
whilst i was never the "excluded one",
i did call "foul" when i saw it happening...
reminded me of jr high where there was

i'm curious about a trend i've noticed - supposed active jws coming here to ask specific questions about jw policy - why don't they just go ask their elders?
why ask a group of people who are openly anti-jw?
most of us are either a: faded, b: inactive, c:disfellowshipped, d: disassociated e: never a jw f:apostate.
unless anyone who wakes up, wants to fade and keep contact with their family, I would say, dont even begin to bring your questions to the elders. They will be on your case....watching and listening...

he went on about how he was pretty much going down his list of names of inactive/ and was wondering if he and another elder could come by for a visit.
