A question for all ex jws AND JW's here, btw I'm new too
by EndofMysteries inso far quite dissappointed from what i've seen.
this is very very important, first i"ll address the non/ex jw then i'll address the jw's (jw's scroll down if don't wanna see the first part).
i see so many who have concluded that it was not 'god inspired', a lot of what is being done, and their conscience told them that many things conflicted with jesus teachings and the bible.

My name was brought up last night in the elders meeting !!!
by elder-schmelder ini was just told by my dad that my name was brought up last night in the elders meeting.. my dad (is or was) an elder, and he told me that the elders are going to be giving me a call.
they have heard rumors that i am an apostate !!.
he said that the elders received a call from another hall that heard that i was an apostate and 1 local brother also turned me in.. does this mean that they have 2 witness to my sin and that they can df me without a jc?.

so no harm/no foul to agree with their fantasy...

Apostates are out to destory your faith!

" was the best reply they could come up with.
i did wonder at the time why people would bother to do that when surely they must have better things to do with their time???.

it is muted....
i find i can no longer remember
the names of most of the people
who were in the hall i attended....
one guy said hello to me and
it took me hours to recall his name
(which happened to be mike, same
as my husband!!)their doctrines? just laughable
and ridiculous cult-speak... once
you know what you know about
the b0rg and its true nature...
no need to give any of it a 2nd glancei suspect when we are able to relocate
to an area where no one knows our
status as former JWs.... there will be
less and less to hang on to in terms
of dubdom....cannot forget it, but certainly can relegate it
to the darkness of the back hall closet where
i am sure scraps of the litter-ature lurk.... -

Volunteering

i am on the chapter board of a non-profit national advocacy group
until this week, i had been a moderator on a forum for
adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse..... i actually
stepped down this week due to circumstances that
have been splitting my focus....4 years was enough...as an alternative healthcare provider, i have made
some of my services available thru the local women's
shelter, gratisi used to go door-to-door
and bother people..
i voluntarily stopped -
