I was at the eye doctor yesterday, after an emergency room visit. I had an injury to my eye, fortunately minor, and my doctor wanted to examine it. Two witnesses were in the office waiting room and spotted me right away. I was wearing dark glasses but as soon as I got inside I took them off. My eye was bloodshot and I was in pain but they wanted to start asking me if I attended the Memorial. Can you believe the nerve? Do they stop and think about people's feelings? No wonder a lot of people tell them off out in the ministry. No, I didn't go to the Memorial and I wasn't going to talk about it when I felt like my eye was going to fall out! Just had to share that...

I've also seen references to JW's on South Park...But all in all, I don't think people really care about what they're doing. Witnesses are the only ones so damned preoccupied with themselves, they need to get a life!

Having a guilty conscience and maybe I should go back to JW

I've just had that feeling recently. But it only happened when I listened to some things that JW were saying. If I don't let that in my head, I'm okay. And because I had been raised in it, all I knew was guilt and low self-worth. If you don't read the materials it won't get stuck in your head!

Ozzie, interesting point made. I noticed this in some literature before and I also remember people being disgusted once they actually started reading it. Aleman, watch out for bad association. If so many of us celebrate Christmas or do not object to it being celebrated, it could rub off. We wouldn't want that... Hope Christ isn't mad at you for being on this site with big, bad apostates.

VERY strange phone call.

in my same town.
about a mile away.. well...i got a phone call today from a very sweet sister, who, if i had stayed, i could have become good friends with.

I think there's quite an increase in da letters and the elders don't really know what to think of it. Many probably sit on it until they can speak with the CO. Or they attempt to meet with you and talk you out of it. This happened to a family friend of mine. It just delayed the announcement and they were frustrated with them. They wanted to cut ties and move on. Sorry, this happened momz. I'll be thinking of you...

Finally got Medication for Depression/bipolar
by KW13 inthey've finally given me medication - i am on a low dosage now, usually its 20mg but i am 10mg to see how it goes and then step it up in a week if i feel i need more, but sometimes it can take a month before your body tells you whats happening anyway.. whoo.. had my first tablet this morning, didnt feel brilliant but at least i know i'm not rolling on the floor and stuff lol..
