  What if their shit doesn't stink? What if they are an authority? How would I person know that they aren't better than they are?

  When You Were A Witness Did You Feel YOU Were Part Of The "Brotherhood"?

  Did you personally feel like you actually belonged to the worldwide brotherhood?

  I did. I especially felt it when I would go overseas. For example, when a friend and I went to Australia, we would call the local KH's and ask someone to pick us up for the meetings. Out of the blue. People were always very willing to do so and we would get love bombed the moment we stepped inside the doors. I definitely felt like I was apart of a brotherhood.

  Who’s smarter, Catholics or J.W.’s?

  as i was growing up my dad would always make a special effort to enlighten his catholic brother-in-law.

  hed ask my uncle to get out his catholic bible and show him scriptures.

  one of his favourite arguments was the doctrine of the popes infallability.

  Each piece of the pie is one slice, put them together it's one pie. I'm no Catholic apologist, that's just how I've had it explained to me.

  Catholics also use this one a lot..

  “You’re dwelling on details”. These details seemed unimportant to him.

  .. if you ask too many questions. I've always considered it a copout in the past.. but maybe they have a point. No one will be able to address all of the minutae related to their religion.

  First, the 1+1+1=1 argument is lame. They think of it more lie a pie, yes, it might be cut into three slices, but it's still one pie. But I digress. If we are talking IQ, I think both group's members are probably on equal footing. I do, however, believe that Catholics on average are probably more knowledge about the world. They don't insulate themselves and they don't discourage higher education.

  If we don't take ourselves seriously, how can we expect others to? At least that's how I try to justify the taking of myself seriously. It's not something you can always control.

  I fit in with the Witnesses. I felt safe and comfortable. Now, I feel like I don't fit into my own body. I haven't figured myself out. Others seem to accept me, but I confuse myself daily.
