it is yet another incident of a politician -- regardless of ideological stripe -- coughing up a lot of money for the sake of good looks.. earlier this cycle, one may recall, former sen. john edwards was subjected to days of ridicule over the fact that he had made two separate payments of $400 for two haircuts.
leading the charge was the media -- keen on pointing out that a self-professed man of the people was spending the equivalent of a months rent, in some places, on personal grooming.

JW Mother-In-Law encourages my wife to "stay strong"
by sacolton injust found a letter from my mother-in-law to my wife about my disassociating from "the truth" and how she is so proud of her to stick with jehovah's organization and quoted this scripture:.
matthew 7:21. not everyone who says to me, "lord, lord," shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my father in heaven.. funny thing is she didn't bother sharing the rest of the scripture ... .
matthew 7:22-23.

I was called for jury duty while still in my 20's, an active JW, and not yet registered to vote. I think they can get your name from other lists, such as driver registration records.
Anyhow, I found it liberating to have a say in who gets to run the city, state or country. I hope that after you do it, that you'll say it felt liberating to you as well.
As for the bloodguilt thing, that's taking it too far. When voting, your job is to make an estimation of who you think is best qualified to serve in a particular office. If they don't hold up to the outline they gave to voters (like you and me) after they get in, if they change course and become a Stalin or a Mussolini, that's on them and not on you. If they start to trend that way, you can certainly do your duty as a citizen and speak out against that trend, write letters to the editor -- protest in any way you see fit. Then you can show you're not in harmony with the man or woman who changed after you voted for them.

Yes I am alive and well
by orangefatcat into all my very dear friends, yes i am here and well, i have been getting new medical help for my severe headaches and must admitt i am getting some positive relief.
the treatment isn't so pleasant however just for the relief of some terrible headaches for a couple of days i am willing to go through the treatment.. also i am now officailly off of my opiate drugs.

Good to hear that you're "alive and well". Best wishes on non-opiate remedies / coping with your pain. I deal with arthritis pain almost every day. Although my pain level is less severe than yours, I know pain can really sap your strength. Take care of yourself OFC.

Know any free websites other than Youtube where I can watch movies?
by Witness 007 ini sit at work for hours in front of a computer and am only required to do something if called {i wont tell you what i do} recently youtube was banned from our computer and i know about google video but are there other sites where you can watch a movie in full that are free.
tonight i'm watching "children of the corn" in full on google....yetsreday i watched "golden eye" great movie...i'm running out of films help.
