ok mymom's grandfather had 3 sons wyman jr, richard,and david my grandfather.i just heard a story about wyman jr that grossed me out big time.wyman jr had a daughter carol who had a half brother denny.denny and carol grew up together.carol didn't know her father.when carol was about 18 or 19 her brother denny got married.they had lived together all there lives.carols mother was dead and she had no one else to live with.so carol went to california and met her father wyman jr for the first time.she moved in with him and his second wife.carol got pregnant by her father wyman jr.. now my father told me that carol also knocked up by her own half brother/son.. her excuse for getting knocked up by her own father was that she never knew him so she didn't have a father daughter relationship with him.. my mothers family was from west virgina..

My dads brother is his brother and uncle (and yes its the same person)... so my dad and i share a uncle...... haha.. ohh man. can anyone figure that one out?

The Memorial

i saw some mention of this in another post, but i wasn't sure if there was a topic about it.

being raised in the "truth" its always pointed out that even people who haven't been to meetings in years still come to the memorial.

ive noticed that a lot of time that is actually the case.

a lot of people do go to the memorial for their families. thats probably the only reason i would go.

'' i don't hand in ''service reports'',attend maybe 3 meetings a month,ain't signed up for the ministry school and will never attend any convention or the ''book study.

every time we enter a new year, i think about how i wasn't supposed to make it this long.

i really believed we wouldn't live past the year 2000, and armageddon would change everything.

it almost strikes me as living on borrowed time, but then i remember that armageddon is a story, not a reality.

I was also told i would not graduate from high school. I was told that there was no way i would grow up in this system.. well.. i am going to be 29.. i am married.. and at last check i am definitely a adult now.. and still no Armageddon. Now if only i had gone to college..

Program jws have to locate each other in emergency

did anyone hear about the special program the jws had or have for locating each one of the faithful ones when the great tribulation occurs or something like that.

my jw mom who passed away in 2006 was going on and on about this but i didn't want to ask to much.

i would get an earful of preaching then.

i seem to remember the lists.. addresses and phone numbers of each and every person that they passed out to everyone in the congregations back in the day.. That could just be lists too though.

Have You Ever Reported An Abuser?

just wondering if any of you ever decided to report any kind of abuse, however small an incident it was.

tonight i reported an incident of 20 years ago to the authorities.

a man came up to me in london on the pretense that he was recruiting for christian dior and to cut a long story short we arranged to meet the next day for an interview.

I was molested by my uncles when i was a child. They were not witnesses. It happened from the time i was a baby until i was about 8. I never told anyone. Years later i found out that these same uncles had been hurting 4 of my other cousins. All that time i had thought that i was the only one. When i found out that they had done that to the others.. it killed me. Especially the thought of them hurting my baby cousins.. whom i adored : (. Long story short i got together with the other cousins and we reported it to the police.. later going to court and testifying. Both of the uncles went to prison. It was a very difficult time for us all. But we got through it.
