New darkness must be arriving from the WT soon

i, along with many others, received our latest freeminds email.
i was shocked at the following underlined statement.. the second thing they are emphasizing is that those who claim to be of the "anointed" (now that they have admitted the number may not be limited to 144,000) not only have no say into what goes into the watchtower magazine, and have no special knowledge or place in jehovah's organization, so don't look to them for answers.
the governing body is the faithful and discreet slave as far as the jws are to be concerned.
New darkness must be arriving from the WT soon

hi xxxx,.
to tell you the truth, i feel very deceived from the way the organization has been acting in the last years.. .
----- original message ----- from: xxxxxsent: wednesday, august 18, 2010 1:04 amsubject: fw: there are no words to describe this!!!!!......
the new issue of the witchtower is available for download now.. .
what does the future hold for the dog class?
who are the "dogs" that are shepherding the "other sheep"?.
i thought it would be an interesting exercise to ask everybody on here what their 'top 10 reasons why jws don't have the truth' actually were.
maybe we can see some correlating views/patterns/ideas that may help us de-programme the newbies that come on this site.
if eventually most people have an outstanding gripe/concern it'll help everybody understand the ex-jw mindset a little better.
coffee_black Fernando,
Great post... and and a hearty Welcome!!!!!!

Welcome Fernando!

i have never understood the watchtower's explanation of the rich man and lazarus story jesus told in luke 16. of course, they don't believe jesus is talking about what happens in an "afterlife" after people die.. but from the watchtower's point of view:.
1. who are the five brothers?.
2. why can't lazarus go witness to them?
Vanderhoven7 What do you believe was the point of the transfiguration? What did this vision represent or picture?
2 There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. 3 Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus.
2 In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.
43 Jesus answered him, "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise."
32 'I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'? He is not the God of the dead but of the living."

come let us go up into heaven let us build our thrones their let us become like the most high!
these are satans words they got him and his demons kicked out off heaven!
When we die, we decompose. End of story. Enjoy what you are sure that you have.
Agreed.
7 and the dust returns to the ground it came from,
and the spirit returns to God who gave it.
One's spirit goes to God
27 Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment

i was told that a congregation has started taking donations for those who are struggling in this time.
they said that they mentioned how catholics, etc, have salvation army and take up donations and help the poor, but jw's don't have anything like that.
i was wondering if all congregations are starting this, or one is realizing that they haven't been in harmony with the early christians.
They are just following the bible
34 There were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned lands or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales
I am sure the elders will stamp it out before it gets out of hand
Blessings,
Stephen
i ask because i threw down the challenge on another thread that if any agreed with debator/reniaa's apologetics in any area would they please post so that we can see where jw's are correct in their teachings.. nobody supported deb/ren's points.. i do not ask for a list of "correct" jw teachings, just where is deb/ren's correct presentation of wt/jw beliefs that stand scrutiny and are truth.. if there are none then we do not need to engage in any kind of talk with deb/ren..
However, without feedback from people that the debates are actually helping them, I wonder if I am just having a fruitless conversation with a magazine published in Brooklyn.
You are, I have the same conversations for too long with too many.
Some times one needs to follow Paul's example
9 But when some became stubborn and continued in unbelief, speaking evil of the Way before the congregation, he withdrew from them and took the disciples with him, reasoning daily in the hall of Tyrannus.

Stephen
hello, jwn!.
like other newbies, im a long time lurker, first-time poster.
recently, i created a profile, but then hesitated on submitting my first post.
hey!
i made my intro post this past weekend and briefly mentioned my dilemma.
here is a link in case you are interested or need to refresh your memory.. http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/members/private/199811/1/introduction-warning-its-complicated.
Jesus should know how to pray, no name required.
Matthew 6:9 (New International Version)
9 "This, then, is how you should pray:
" 'Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
2 He said to them, "When you pray, say:
" 'Father, [ a ]
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come. [ b ]
36 "Abba, [a] Father," he said, "everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will."
Footnotes:15 For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. [a] And by him we cry, "Abba, [b] Father."
Footnotes:6 Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, [a] Father."
