i wish i could not think its so wrong when everyone i know and love thinks its so right.. i'm so mad... i wish i could run to my husband and tell him how angry i am.

tell him and my family that i don't ever want to go near a kh again.

Why am I forced into something thats so wrong???

Why did that guy ever have to go to my Dads door???

So, let me get this straight... These are my 2 choices:

1. DA myself and never get to talk to my family and friends again; or

2. Fade, but still "counted" as a JW. Another words, still a part of them.

Sorry, I'm usually not so angry, I'm usually fine. Just mad now cause the closest people to me I really can't even speak to about this...

we are great friends now....but he wasn't much of a father growing up.. worked all the time...we went on few vacations....pretty much pussy whipped my my nazis jw mother.. he never did believe in the whole jw thing.

he just when along with it, for my mothers sake.. she never did respect him for not being a "spiritual head" and pretty much let us kids know about it.. i, like my mother became very self rightious and judgmental.. i wished now he had just came to me just once and said "keith maybe the jws are not the people you think they are.

" but he was to afraid of my mother to say that...even though he knew it to be true.i would have never believed him....back then....but it would have planted a seed.... .

He had some good qualities... Some of our best heart to hearts were on the stage!

He hit us a lot, he was always mad. I still can hear the screaming of my brothers hiding under the bed as he dragged them out to beat them for God knows what...

He swore a lot. He was the PO...

Never got in trouble (that I know of) for any of it...

Then I married (1st marriage, now divorced from him) somebody that hit me.

Our relationship is fine now...

btw, one other thing worth noting:

The word "apostate" is not in the greek scriptures...

If you would like me to break it down in Hebrew, let me know. It's just that we are under the "new covenant" right???

I think you should break down what the word “apostasy” and apostate mean and go from there. This way, they can’t really fight you on it…

This is all from strongs dictionary in which the society uses often…

The original words that "apostacy" comes from the Greek word "apostasia" meaning "defection from truth (properly, the state) ("apostasy"):--falling away, forsake.". Now, in the Greek scriptures, this word is used 2 times in which I will quote them.

I highlighted where the word apostasy is used…

Acts 21:21

Strongs:

And they are informed of thee, that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise [their] children, neither to walk after the customs.

nwt:

But they have heard it rumored about you that you have been teaching all the Jews among the nations an apostasy from Moses, telling them neither to circumcise their children nor to walk in the [solemn] customs.

2 Thes. 2:3

Strongs:

Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition

NWT:

Let no one seduce YOU in any manner, because it will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness gets revealed, the son of destruction.

Do you guys know what it stated in these 2 instances???? Well, in Acts this is speaking about the apostle paul and how it was rumered that he was teaching these things and so the military commander ordered that they beat the crap out of Paul.

In 2 Thes. in this instance I can't say it better then what is quoted in verse 4 - " He is set in opposition and lifts himself up over everyone who is called "god" or an object of reverence, so that he sits down in the temple of The God, publicly showing himself to be a god."

Now, notice that they only scripture that really spoke about what apostasy is in 2 thes.... Ask your family member if it is reasonable that they view you as having elevated yourself up "over everyone who is called God???

Side Note ~

Compare that to what the NWT says in 2 Pe.2:1 -

" However, there also came to be false prophets among the people, as there will also be false teachers among YOU. These very ones will quietly bring in destructive sects and will disown even the owner that bought them, bringing speedy destruction upon themselves. "

hmmmm??? Who are those false teachers???? Who are the ones that brought on a "destuctive sect"????
