The Douchiest Phone Message In History

in all my years of studying douchebaggery, never have i encountered anything like this.

its such pure and unadulterated douche that i wish i could bottle it and use just a drop of it at a time.. the back story on this is that a girl named olga was out with her friends in the marina district of san francisco (known for being a popular hang out for douches), and she talked to this guy named dmitri for all of two minutes.

Believe it or not there are lots of guys out there like that

When I found myself newly single after my husband died in 2002 I joined one of those Dating things that involved Phone Intros and messages. (Online wasn't that popular yet because the guys my age generally don't know how to use computers 50+) The Ladies were free to leave messages and put the ads in but the guys had to pay for the messages. This demitri sounds like a lot of the guys answering my ad, which got the delete action happening a lot. One guy got verbally abusive with me because I wouldn't return his stupid messages which were like this one.. he was so mad I didn't get back to him. He threatened to come and punch my lights out. I saved that message and had his account removed. Some people are so full of themselves.

How important is alcohol to you?

i feel i drink too much and it concerns me sometimes.

i'm not an alcoholic (isn't that what an alcoholic would say?

) and i never drink in large quantities but if i don't have a glass of wine or a good real ale in my hand of an evening i feel disappointed.

It is a habit isn't it and I know I have to quit for a while to learn that its a treat once in a while, not a way to self medicate. Its not easy and my husband drinks every night to relax so its doubly difficult right now. He wants to sit and drink every night, especially now that the nice weather is here. We love sitting outside by the Lake and pool enjoying and drinking. Its a long weekend here starting today until Tuesday. Thats going to be a challenge.

I have felt that having a glass of wine is the biggest treat at the end of the day. One leads to three usually and on social occasions more. I was concerned about it as I was doing it everyday for years. I have had a lot of bad things go on in my life in the past 6 years and alcohol was easing the stress. Everyday is a challenge lately and thinking that at the end of the day I can have some wine to Unwind helped me.

Well I decided that it was becoming to much of a habit, I was conditioned to having to have a drink in order to relax. I was starting to feel worse not better. Tired every night and getting grumpy. I have acquired some health problems that have changed my whole life in the last 2 years. I have MS, disc degeneration, arthritis and spinal stenosis, All in my lower back. I can hardly walk and standing causes terrible pain. I just wanted to die when I first realized that I am not going to get better. So I drank more to ease the mental pain as well as the actual pain. I do not take pain killers.

I quit 3 weeks ago and I feel so much better, its a struggle at night and especially on weekends when I am socially with people. It s just such a bad habit to have to have a drink to socialize. I am sticking with it. Its not making my health problems better but it will help me not acquire more health problems.

So Peppermint to answer your question, alcohol was a crutch for me and important but I am trying Hard to make it NOT important.

10 kilograms and still going strong!

for those of you who followed my weight watchers thread (http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/157445/1.ashx) ... i am so excited to announce that this week i hit the 10 kg mark (22lbs) .

this is going so well and i am feeling very proud of myself, and also looking a lot better.. .

Princess Congratulations that is GREAT!!!!

Thats my goal to lose 20 lbs. I just started Weight Watchers less than 3 weeks ago. I love that diet because it has so many food options. I am eating better than before I started the diet.

You are really sticking with it and you should be so proud of yourself. Keep up the good work.

Exercise Check-In Log

after loubelle's exercise thread, i thought it would be a fun idea to keep a log here and check in with everyone.. i walked 30 minutes yesterday plus after walked to the police station and the witch store about 3 miles away from the y.. food: .

breakfast: 2 pieces of toast: one with pb and the other with honey, coffee.

lunch: hardboiled egg, ham, cheese stick.

I am eating the right things and sticking with WWatcher. Haven't weighed myself in a week, not good to do it everyday or you can get discouraged.

Exercised in the pool yesterday for 30 minutes, Went around the pool 10 times in a walking motion. Paddled back and forth in pool for 10 minutes holding onto to a inflatable. Its a start. No pressure on my spine in the pool.

Food: Breakfast - tea, watermelon slice Lunch - Asparagus salad with 1 slice of chicken, 2 Wasa crackers with Laughing cow light cheese. Perrier Water Dinner - 2 chicken souvlaki skewers BBQ, 15 French Fries baked in oven (130 calories) Snack - 1/2 cup cherry light frozen yogurt. Lots of water with slices of lemon. I was way below the allowed 27 pts with this and had 15 pts

Thanks for sharing that with us Parakeet. That is so sweet, they are so helpless for a few weeks then off they go. I am fascinated by hummingbirds but have never seen their little nests or baby hummingbirds. We have a feeder in front of our kitchen window and sit at the table there and watch them for hours. They sure seem to eat a lot. We have Ruby throated Hummingbirds up here in Ontario Canada.

Tossed out of the District Convention! What did I do wrong? I exist!!

I feel for you Terry, I know how you must have felt. I have been there done it many moons ago when I was 18, just disfellowshipped and I dropped into the Circuit Assembly (which was being held in the small town I lived in) because I was feeling sad and alone after being tossed out and not having a friend in the world. The Attendants who knew me accosted me at the door and told me that I was not welcome. All I was going to do was sit and listen. So its not a new thing that they are doing this, that was almost 40 years ago. I walked away crying and dejected.

I applaude you for staying cool and calm and not making a scene. You sound like a real sweetie and didn't deserve that treatment. The guy on the video was way out of control and only made him look like a crazy apostate.

A colonic therapist cleans the colon out by flushing water through it and by pressure removing the waste from it..........Its a sophisticated enema. Very comfortable, no smell or mess. Its done with 2 tubes, one going into the colon and one going out for waste that goes directly into the sewer drain. Its better than having to drink that awful goop they make you drink to clean it. Cleaning the colon regularly helps prevent colon cancer and colon problems.

Thanks White Dove for the acknowledgement. You are so right that people who have their health should take care of it and not take it for granted. Keep on exercising and eathing healthy.

I have always been active and exercised a lot until a couple of years ago when I got this Arthritis, Degenerative Disc, in my back along with spinal stenosis which is congenital. So all that going on in my back at once. It happens when you get older but not always having 3 things ganging up on you. Ugh. I eat healthy most of the time but I do sit around a lot now so its difficult to lose weight. Its been piling on with being a couch potato and I have gained 20 lbs in the past 3 years. So off it comes.

Hi, I am still on my WW diet but I haven't exercised yet other than swimming. I plan to do the treadmill today. I have severe Pain in my lower back so exercise is not FUN. I was at the doctors on Thursday and he said the only way I will get relief from pain is to exercise and to lose weight. He gave me a DVD of exercises that I can do sitting down or holding on to a chair. I better get started.

1 Tablespoon of Peanut butter per day is ok on a diet. I LOVE peanut butter. Weight Watchers encourage eating peanut butter in small quantities.

Today I had tea for breakfast, not hungry for food. Just had lunch and had 1 slice of rye bread with reduced calorie margarine (I can't believe its not butter) 1 slice of no fat cheese melted on the toast and 2 slices of tomato on top. I also had one slice of Watermelon.

I am going to go out into my pool and exercise there.
