  It is saying here that those that make themselves ready to become members of Jehovahs family are blessed and admitted through the symbolic gates to the Kingdom of God. Again, this had nothing to do with the act of salvation by Christ in bringing about the ransom of mankind with the sacrifice of His life. However, it is clear that the individual has to wash his own robes by his faithful action of following the commands of Christ. The individual cannot make these symbolic robes white. That has been done for him. Nonetheless, the individual does have to wash them. Those that do not follow the commands of Christ are equated with those that are outside.

  Your right, the NKJV is a little easier to understand, I have the "Nelsons NKJV Study Bible" although I do use the NWT more than I do the NKJV.

  In just about every other Bible it says "Wash their robes". I'm pretty sure you are refering to the NKJV where it says "doing his commandments" but if you look at the foot notes at the bottom it should say that this verse means "Wash their Robes"

  What this verse means according to BibleGateway is:

  This means they believed and obeyed Jesus so that their sins could be forgiven by Christ's blood. The "washing" may refer to

  baptism (Acts 22:16).

  It's not at the Pirate Bay...But here's an idea....show up at your local Kingdom hall tommorow night and pick yourself up a copy. Then you can sell the CD on Ebay. If fact you can make copies of it and sell for $20 bucks each.

  Besides though is there really a need for the 2007 version? I mean I have the 2004 version on my computer and Im still able to find many incriminating articles. Ive got the 2005 and 2006 CD's but just havent gotten around to putting them.

  Crisis of Conscience as an e-book?

  this is a suggestion really, i don't know if it's in the right sub-forum.

  i have read the chapters available online via wikipedia but the risk involved in ordering the book to read the rest is just too great.

  does anyone who knows ray franz feel that they could approach him about getting the book made available to purchase online as an e-book?

  yeah your right, I suppose we all want something for free, and unfourtunatley if you look hard enough you will be able to find the whole book on the net. It would not be fair for anyone to post it on the net, any revenue should go to Commentary Press and Ray Franz.

  NEW article on Oral Sex?!

  i was watching the youtube video on the nbc piece about pedophiles and saw a comment about a new oral sex study article that was supposedly quite graphic.

  i was curious if anyone had this?!

  or knew what date it was...i might be able to sneak a peek the next time i visit my mother.

  Seems it changes on a regular basis, because we were counseled on it just recently. Their reasoning according to "The Counselor" in our congo is that Sodom and Gommorah was destroyed because "men were laying men" (nevermind everything else) and what do men lying with men do "oral sex". So that must mean that oral sex is bad. Even though If I remember right Songs of Sol. Chapter 2 talks about oral sex and how good it is. Strange?

  seems the local congregation is seeking out those elderly and infirm to see if they need help in anything.

  have been asked this question, but no help needed or asked for yet, at least in this congregation.

  in former congregations, it was asked for and not given, only in name only and not in reality.
