i have a friend,who i used to study with for quite a while.
she was slowed down in her 'spiritual progress' because she had to work tuesday nights.
so couldn't get to all the meetings.this prevented her from becoming a publisher for many years.
Today she begged me to come to the memorial. She said I have been so kind to her and helped her so much...and now I am not there. She said she feels weak and if it wasn't for her love for Jehovah she would leave the Organization.She was very upset.
That must of been heart wrenching for you! Have you decided what you will do?

i haven't contributed much in a while.
life keeps me busy.
for me, (and i only speak for myself) i have struggled with learning about myself since leaving.
To forgive myself and forgive those that have hurt you?" I know the answer to that question for me, and it helps me a great deal.
I write about wisdom right now because slowly but surely I have been including people in my life, and getting some perspective on me.
Now that you have found that answer peace will follow, letting others into your life now is a good thing to help you move on and find some sort
of trust again in people.
You are young and have a lot of life ahead you.

i just heard the news this morning.
i'm a bit numb from it.
he was the one that got the reunions together.
That makes him a brother to one of your parents, my husbands mom a 20hr a month publisher has been to lots of worldly funerals in churches and no one has ever said a word to her.
They just do not have to announce it to the congregation I hope they change their mind, it may plaque them down the road.

i'm a former jw or joho as one of my sister's schoolmates used to call us.
(reminds me of the hojos we used to stay at for assemblies :d) i was raised as a witness, baptized at the age of 14 due to my father's constant pressuring.
i'm in my mid-30s now and i stopped attending meetings three years ago.

it was pretty ho hum.
probably the first time i've actually paid much attention to the talk (i used to be one of the puppets passing around the emblems) - it amazed me how little he talked about jesus, and how much revolved around the technicalties of the 144000. and is the number of anointed getting larger?
i thought it was down to 8-thousand something - he said it was 9 thousand and something last year??
or because you still feel they hold your shares in the afterlife?

My husband and I are one of those couples, I do not know what may have come if one or the other left but not together. It most certainly would
have been a strain in the relationship. He was a ms and I was a regular pioneer for 10 years.

a year ago today my husband was arrested after he tried to kill his own friend and a police officer, with a knife.
they shot him, and he has been in jail, having various kinds of hearings, awaiting trial since then.
every day as i go about my life i think about his choices - if he had thought longer before he took that first dose of meth, he might still have his comfortable life, freedom to go fishing when he wants, nice work, friends, so on.
My heart goes out to each of you women you have all been thru traumatic experiences and somehow have been able to keep it
together. Sometimes bad experiences how awful that may sound, we some how muster the strength to carry on
and this makes us strong.

dissolve 1 cake of yeast (or 3 packets of dry yeast) in 4 cups [1 l] of warm water.
stirin 5 cups [600 g] of flour (whole wheat or white).
A little salsa or guacamole might help get it down!
