as a witness if i spend my life at meetings and field service my reward is............eternity with the witnesses gardening which i hate.....and singing kingdom songs.
no t.v no booze no fun no nothing and to boot i don't get my 70 virgins like the muslims......i mean for 70 virgins i would be willing to go thru all the meetings and field service........but to spend eternity with your circuit oversear and a bunch of bethelite's i think the living would envy the dead.

by jefferywhat ini have noticed, and posted a little bit about all the buzz surrounding this year.
there is a little bit of a whisper campaign going around that armageddon is coming this year.
from other posts i notice im not the only one who is seeing this, there is alot of "reminders" that we need to be obedient and trusting of the fds ( which i am of course), along with reminders to stock up and prepare for disasters etc they are really pointing to something.

he dies, gets resurrected and goes back to heaven.
throws satan and his demons outta heaven in 1914, rules the kingdom, checking sure that everything is going smoothly........ what is jehovah doing?

Remember when assemblies were fun?
by Aphrodite ini just remembered when i was a kid and we would go to the assembly, it was fun because we got to buy new clothes and put extra effort into looking good.
when we would get there you could save your seats and even save some for your friends, then go off looking for them.. i used to love our circuit assembly because of the food.
it was at the assembly hall and there was a big kitchen, some of my favourite brothers worked in that kitchen, sometimes i was allowed to go in and help.

When we were kids the D/C was held in Twicknham's rugby stadium,and walking towards the stadia you would smell the waft of bacon baps and the awful coffee,but they were good times really , my old man was head of field security and meeting yearly the guys who would work on the team was nice.The catering setup in the 70's was enormous then (attendees 50k plus) but when the dickheads of the G/B reduced the catering setup part of the joy of being a dub died,after all dubs would only go to assemblies just to volunteer,

i remember the week she was born very well.
i have watched tennis since the late '70s, and i remember when billie jean king was a star, when jimmy connors was a hot new thing, and when "virginia slims" matches were shown on wtbs.

She was good kid at the championships here in Wimbledon she always took time to make all the interviews with the BBC and always took time to sign autographs as well, glad she did not end up marrying that twat Layton Hewitt,and in a era dominated by the awful Williams sisters she done wellwish her all the best

by Warlock inaccording to one of my relatives, the co said, on a recent visit, that the offer of "everlasting life" will be brief and to the point.. when street witnessing, if people refuse, do not chase them.
in the door to door work, if someone is not interested, do not persist, just leave.. according to my relative, these changes really show "how close to the end we really are".. why is it that every change is interpreted as "this change shows how close to the end we really are"?.
i have come to realize that the wts are masters at jerking people around, and i really hate it!.

Wow, the year is 2008, and still no Armageddon!
by Nosferatu inevery time we enter a new year, i think about how i wasn't supposed to make it this long.
i really believed we wouldn't live past the year 2000, and armageddon would change everything.
it almost strikes me as living on borrowed time, but then i remember that armageddon is a story, not a reality.

If like me and was raised in the troof,never thought we'd see 2008 , still expect more B/S and lies over the years from the GB , blaming the rank and file that we played too much emphasis in it (like Fred Franz did over 1975)and look out for the W/D bringing out articles on the fact that Armageddon is purely symbolic!
