Children Who Leave Always Come Back to the Society
by ataloa ini heard this in a car group one day.
a young single mother said she always heard that growing up.

CASHLESS SOCIETY - HOW CLOSE?
by 1914BS inlately i have noticed very strange activity at my local gas stations that i go to in the vancouver area people are being asked to use the debit/credit cards at the pump.
the last time i tried to use a debit card to pay gas inside a gas station i got scolded by the cashier, he said "please pay at the pump!!.
i say gee i guess he is having a bad day or something..... well so i go to anouther gas station - a shell station and the same rhetoric .."please pay at the pump!

A guy I work with is obsessed with debit cards and paying everything without cash he will even pay £1 in a store on a debit card, and also here in London on all Public Transport almost everyone pays now on an Oyster Card and Barclays Bank has introduced a Oyster/Debit/Credit Card, but with a world wide recession/credit crunch looming I always say that cash becomes more popular again, can you imagine Drugs Traffickers/Loan Sharks/Money Launderers/Terrorist's paying for goods and services by Debit Card? No cash is here to stay for a long time yet

Night Guards at Twickenham
by Duncan ina very enjoyable part of my job these last few years has been entertaining clients with corporate hospitality at the rugby union international matches at twickenham.
i work for a software company, as finance director, and these events such as the six nations, or the annual barbarians tour - provide companies such as mine a valuable opportunity to spend time with customers and prospects and try to interest them in our products, or at least get them to be favourably disposed to the company.
sponsorship of rugby matches like this is actually quite a smart move marketing-wise.

Was a little bit too young to do it in the 70/80's , although I believe a lot of London Bethel Boys went for it, Jeff and his brother David Woodfield done it for a few years (Jeff is CO now ) don't know what happened to his younger brother David, but were both bloody good guys, Jeff was the chairman on my J/C and acted in a very balanced/loving/caring way, pity that cant be said for some of the others hey Jeff?
