  They don't know what to do....

  have been going to a few meetings to support my kids that have to go with their mother.

  i knew it would be a powerful lesson for them to see how these loving people treat their father who da'd a while ago.

  couple of elders tried to corner me the 2nd or 3rd time i went to remind me that i cant talk to anyone.... i however reminded them that i am not df'd and i can talk to whomever i want to.

  recently attended a sad.. bethel speaker was gushing about the wt's embrace of new technology, in the part of his talk warning about "apostate" web sites.. a loose summary of his comments:.

  "and the brothers at headquarters have made it very safe for you to go to our website.

  in fact, the brothers talked to the folks at google, and they made a special arrangement so that when you type in 'j w period' into the google search engine, it automatically shows you the jw.org website.

  Standing on Street Corners, Counting Time - the Impotent Future of Preaching

  you see them all over the place now, 2 or 3 of them standing near a portable display of bible-based literature, chatting to each other.

  counting time.. i've seen them in london, glasgow and cluj (romania).

  the portable display is always the same.

  the person I see most taking the litertrash is me ! so it can be binned as quickly as possible, I've been paying quite a lot of attention to this stupid racks and I've yet to see anyone take anything

  this is an observation i have made .

  yesterday a group of jw`s entered the street where i live , i`m at the end of a street and they stood around and obviously joked and mucked around for about 10 minutes as a group opposite my house .their were 3 teenage girls ,1 teenage boy , and 3 older men .

  this was about 10:30 am on a saturday.

  long are the days of the "foot in door " merchants and "yelling down the letterbox" , if any thing these stupid metal racks make their work even less effective and leaves them to just muck around, play with their phones and gossip.

  the usual, get some placards printed, a few lumps of 2 be 1 , some nails and bingo you have all the tools for your first "picket", wont do much though, it reinforces their stupid persuction complex, the best tools for getting them to think is the "google button"

  anyone heard this yet?

  I was at that 1969 International Convention at Wembley Stadium as well as a 3 year old, my old man would have loved it, and would have been one of the first there and the last out, he had a 1 year old daughter as well, wonderful parenting eh ?

  as i grew up in the religion, i was a 10. i wanted to be made a "servant" because that was instilled in me from infancy.

  i diligently studied ever piece of watchtower literature and defended my religion intensely.. when i got into my 30's, i started to see little cracks in the watchtower's surface but decided to "wait on jehovah".

  then i started to research a little more critically and realized i couldn't defend the prophecies, the treatment of people and the hypocrisy that was becoming more obvious, that especially an elder can see.. it was a gradual thing---from a 10 to a zero!.

  quite high, probably an 8, auxillary pioneered, reaching out to be an MS, I even declined to go to certain parties becuase the group may not have been "spiritual" enough ! the problem was that I had crept into leading a double life not long into the Dub career, sexual encounters, I hid it perfectly.

  some of the comments on the anthony morris topics have been despicable.. if someone is an idiot or a biggot then they are damaging themselves.. if 'we' start posting vile filth, insults and threats then it doesn't convince anyone other than we're probably as bad..
